A few days ago, Nissan released the official map of the Qashqa e-POWER. First of all, the design of the new car is consistent with the ordinary version of the new model, and the new car is younger and sharper than the current model on sale in China. The new V-Motion front face, the V-shaped grille is larger and more imposing, and the headlights on both sides are quite sci-fi, presenting an electric futuristic feeling.
The body side and rear design is relatively conventional, but it is more angular and more powerful than the current model. The down-and-down roof and raised waistline make the side visual effect more dynamic, and the blackened taillights add a richer look to the rear.
The biggest difference from the regular model is the power system, which is equipped with Nissan's own e-POWER system. Unlike the Ryotaya hybrid system, the fuel engine in nissan e-POWER is not directly involved in the drive, but only acts as a "charging treasure" to drive the motor to generate electricity.
The fuel engine in Qashqa e-POWER is a 1.5T three-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 156 horsepower, which is much more powerful than the 1.2L self-priming engine equipped with Xuanyi e-POWER. The total output power of Qashqai e-POWER is 188 horsepower, which is much stronger than Xuanyi e-POWER.
Compared with the ordinary hybrid system, e-POWER, which is similar to the principle of extended range, makes the vehicle always driven by electricity, and the power output feeling is closer to that of a pure electric vehicle, but because there is still an engine to intervene in power generation, the noise and vibration performance is not as good as that of electric vehicles.
This release is an overseas version of the model, we believe that the domestic model will come, and there should be a model equipped with e-POWER system to choose from, but I don't know how long Nissan will let us wait.
