According to foreign media reports, Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4u" and Paramore's "Misery Business" proved the similarity of the two after countless comparisons and mix-and-match, after which Paramore's "Misery Business" was given the right to compose Rodrigo's hit song.

Now, The debut single for Rodrigo's album Sour, Good 4 U, lists Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams and guitarist Josh Farro as co-authors, which also means they will receive royalty from the best-selling song. The change comes after millennials started mixing and matching the two songs on TikTok and YouTube.
According to Variety magazine, the soundtrack of the song is said to be a transplant, i.e. "elements that re-record previously recorded songs and incorporate into new songs." That means Rodrigo, Wlliams, and Farro had a conversation before the song was released, but the change wasn't officially announced until a few months later.
While the exact timing is unclear, Paramore recently retweeted a message announced by Warner Chappell Music on Instagram with the headline "Our publishers are crazy."
