Chen Wenxi (1906-1991) was born in Jieyang, Guangdong, China, loved art since childhood, after graduating from middle school, went to Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts to specialize in fine arts, and then transferred to Xinhua Art College for some reason, taught by Pan Tianshou and other famous teachers, four years later, returned to his hometown, taught at Shantou Middle School, and initiated the organization of the Chunyang Painting Society. He has held solo exhibitions in Shantou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and other cities.
