Nirvana drummer Dave. Dave Grohl reunites the members of Nirvana who were still alive,—— original bassist Chris. Kris Novoselic and touring guitarist Pat. Pat Smear, who performed together at a charity gala last Saturday.
"We've said we're not going to tour together in four or five years, but we can't resist the temptation," Novoselic said in an interview.

In 2010, the first album produced by the remaining members of Nirvana was not a live performance album, but a studio album. Spitfire lead singer Grohl and guitarist Smir brought in Novoselik to record the bass part of their new album, Wasted Light.
The album was produced by Nirvana's long-time producer Wegg, and Nirvana's second studio album, Nevermind, was written by Wegg.
