As one of the four famous works of ancient China, "Journey to the West" is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancients and a rare cultural treasure they left us. "Journey to the West" tells the story of the four Tang monks who went through 9981 difficulties and finally obtained the True Scriptures. In the story, Sun Wukong must be one of the important characters.
Sun Wukong, also known as Sun Xing, is a self-proclaimed Monkey King of Huaguo Mountain and the Great Sage of Qi Tian. He served as a celestial official. Later, in order to recruit Sun Wukong, the Jade Emperor recognized his self-proclaimed title of Qi Tian Dasheng, and after the completion of the sutra, he was awarded the title of Fighting Buddha by the Buddha of Rulai.
Sun Wukong was born in the World of Shu Po Dongsheng Shenzhou Ao Lai Guo Hua Guo Shan, and was born from the Sengoku since its inception. However, Sengoku is not without origin, it is located on the ancestral line of the Ten Continents and Three Islands, its high circumference is twenty-four qi, and its upper hole corresponds to the Nine Palace Bagua (Nine Tricks and Eight Holes). One day, the immortal stone burst open, laying a stone egg, blown by the wind, transformed into a stone monkey, after the stone monkey was born, two divine rays of light appeared in his eyes, shooting at the Dou Mansion, alarming the Jade Emperor in the sky. Later, because of his successful intrusion into the water curtain cave, he was worshipped by the monkeys of Huaguoshan as the "Monkey King".
In the days of HuaguoShan, the Monkey King lived a very dashing life. It was just that as the days passed, he also began to discover the path of easy passing of years and easy aging, so he went down the mountain to find the way of immortality, and worshiped under the bodhi ancestors of the Three Star Cave of the Oblique Moon, and learned the way of immortality, the change of the earth change technique (that is, the seventy-two changes), and the tendon douyun.
However, the Monkey King was restless after all, and was later expelled from the division by Bodhi Grandmaster for showing himself too much, and returned to Huaguo Mountain. In the days that followed, the Monkey King made a big fuss in the East China Sea Dragon Palace, made a big fuss in the Underground Mansion, obtained a Ruyi Golden Hoop Stick that could change the size freely according to the user's wishes, and was removed from the birth and death book of the King of Yan Luo to obtain eternal life.
After the Monkey King Sun Wukong accepted the Jade Emperor's invitation, because he was not invited to participate in the Peach Festival of the Queen Mother's Mother, and was ridiculed by the rest of the immortals, he was immediately furious, and in the name of "Qi Tianda Sage", he made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace and held hands with the Heavenly Soldier Heavenly General, so that the original order was suddenly chaotic, and no one in the Heavenly Court could stop Sun Wukong's behavior, so he invited the Buddha.
The Buddha relied on a little means to crush Sun Wukong under the Five Finger Mountain. But in fact, the Buddha also had weaknesses, and if Sun Wukong had known about it, he might have escaped the disaster.
Fifty-five times in journey to the West, Tang Monk was caught by a scorpion spirit, and Sun Wukong had no choice, so he invited Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin Bodhisattva told them:
"This goblin is very profitable,...... It's a scorpion spirit in itself. He listened to the Buddhist talks at the Lei Yin Temple, and when he saw him, he didn't push him with his hand, so he turned the hook and stuck the thumb of Rulai's left hand, and Rulai was also in pain, that is, Vajra took him, but he was here. ”
It is not difficult to see from this that in fact, the Fatal Weakness of the Rulai Buddha is the thumb in the left hand, if Sun Wukong turns his head in the palm of the Buddha's hand and points the golden hoop stick at the finger of the Rulai Buddha, then he can break the Rulai Dharma, even if he cannot win, he can escape from the palm of the Rulai Buddha's hand.
Of course, knowing that such things are hypothetical, and generally speaking, there are not many people who can know the shortcomings of the Buddha, so Sun Wukong's failure is almost an inevitable result.
