Luo Yusheng
The Tianjin Qu Art Troupe was once incomparably brilliant, with cross-talk actors Zhang Shouchen, Ma Sanli, Chang Lian'an, Guo Rongqi, Zhao Peiru, Chang Baoting, Su Wenmao, Ma Zhiming, Wei Wenliang, Li Boxiang, drum music actors Luo Yusheng, Shi Huiru, Wang Peichen, Xiao Lanyun, Wang Yubao, Hua Wubao, Shi Wenxiu, and Allegro book actors Li Runjie, Wang Fengshan, and Zhang Zhikuan, all of whom are all actors in this troupe. Xiangsheng "Buy Monkey", "Ten O'Clock Start", "Meeting Fan", "Batch of Three Kingdoms", "Chat", "Dispute"; Allegro book "Hijacking Car", "Three Dozen White Bone Essence"; Jingyun Big Drum "Sword Pavilion Smelling Bell", "Ugly End YinChu" and other classic works were also born here.
Beijing is the birthplace of quyi, and Tianjin is the birthplace of quyi. From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, Tianjin has many quyi artists, often staging more than a dozen kinds of music, each artist has contacted a lot of audiences, and the city's venues for performing quyi have the highest profits.
Tianjin Quyi Troupe was originally two independent troupes, one is Tianjin Quyi Work Troupe and the other is Tianjin Radio Quyi Troupe. Luo Yusheng returned to Tianjin from Shanghai in 1950 and joined the Tianjin Quyi Work Troupe the following year, and her first new program was "Lu Songshan, the Hero of The One-Man", followed by "Mei Huaiqing", "Qiu Shaoyun", "Huang Jiguang" and so on. Wang Peichen, together with Liu Baoquan and Jin Wanchang, is known as the "Three Masters of the Drum Industry", and in 1953, he joined the Tianjin Quyi Work Troupe and performed programs such as "Liu Ling Drunk", "Jiang Taigong Selling Noodles", and "Ping An Jia Xin".

Tianjin People's Radio Established Radio Qu Art Troupe was established in February 1953, and artists from all over the world actively participated, including nine rap forms such as cross-talk, allegro book, Shandong fast book, brand music, Jingyun big drum, Xihe big drum, Henan pendant, commentary, Xuzhou qin book and so on. In addition to the daily broadcasting and recording work, a quyi radio evening party was also held on a monthly basis, and programs such as Henan's "Stealing Pomegranates" and Xuzhou Qinshu's "Meeting in a Boat" were excavated and sorted out. The famous magic master Chen Yanan is also an actor in this troupe.
In December 1956, the Tianjin Quyi Working Group and the Tianjin People's Radio Quyi Troupe merged and renamed the "Tianjin Quyi Troupe of Tianjin People's Radio". More than 80 performers of the two troupes held a conference in the radio auditorium, Ma Sanli, Luo Yusheng, Zhao Peiru, and Guo Rongqi spoke successively, and the actors held a reception performance party.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the Tianjin Qu Art Troupe excavated and sorted out a large number of traditional programs, such as Luo Yusheng's Jingyun drum "Seven Star Lanterns", Zhao Peiru's cross-talk "Cai Fan Homecoming", Wang Peichen's Le Ting big drum "Monopoly of Flowers", Shi Huiru's single-string "Ge Towel", "You Chun", "Whipping Reed Flowers", Hua Wubao's plum blossom drum "Dai Yu Funeral Flower", "Xingyuan he Fan", Wang Yubao's Tianjin Seasonal Tune "Spring Lou Hate", Su Wenmao Zhu Xiangchen's cross-talk "On Teasing", and so on. These programs leave their essence on the basis of the original, remove their dross, the lyrics are cleaner and neater, the story is more complete, the characters are more distinct, and they maintain a simple and innocent, vivid and easy style.
During this period, the Tianjin Qu Art Troupe also launched a large number of new programs, the most representative of which is Ma Sanli's cross-talk "Buy Monkey", "Ten O'Clock Start", "Meeting Fans" and so on. Ma Sanli also suffered a bad luck for "Buy Monkey".
From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, there were many newcomers in the Tianjin music and art circles, including Ma Zhiming, a cross-talk actor, Zhang Zhikuan, an allegro book actor, Liu Chunai and Zhang Qiuping, Actors of Jingyun Big Drum, Yao Xuefen, an actor of Leting Big Drum, and Wang Rongfen, an actor of Tianjin Seasonal... All attracted the attention of the audience.
Liu Chunai is Luo Yusheng's apprentice, her singing "Night Please Li Yuehua" was personally taught by Luo Yusheng, her voice is generous and bright, the scale is accurate, the ear tone is good, and the singing is full of charm. Zhang Qiuping's singing of "Peach Blossom Village" was personally taught by Lin Hongyu, paying attention to the combination of singing and watching, anthropomorphic and lifelike. Yao Xuefen is a student of Wang Peichen, a famous drum actor in Leting, and her singing is real and touching, and she is good at using decorative sounds, auxiliary words, and onomatopoeia to narrate.
In 1973, From a young age, Wei Wei, who loved to sing mezzo-sopranos, entered the Tianjin Qu Art Troupe, and in 1976, the troupe decided to restore the plum blossom drum genre and selected Wei Wei to study, and she gradually became familiar with and loved this musical and lyrical song. The famous actor Shi Wenxiu said some traditional passages for her and taught her to play drums, and Xiao Yingxia also taught her to perform. Wei Wei's masterpiece "Erquan Yingyue" shows the loyal love between Ah Bing and Qin Mei, and it makes people feel that the afterglow is lingering.
Today, Wei Wei is one of the representative figures in the Chinese drum music industry, and is also the most capable actor of the Tianjin Qu Art Troupe. The past glorious music groups are declining day by day, and I don't know when they will make a comeback. (Text: He Yuxin)
