The Nantong Municipal CPC Committee and the Nantong Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection elected a new member of the leading body Wang Hui was elected secretary of the Nantong Municipal CPC Committee

On September 28, the first plenary session of the 13th Nantong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the first plenary session of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection elected members of the new municipal party committee and the municipal discipline inspection commission respectively. Wang Hui was elected secretary of the municipal party committee, Wu Xinming and Shen Lei were elected deputy secretaries of the municipal party committee, Wang Xiaohong (female), Lu Weidong, Feng Chunqing, Jiang Dong, Zhou Jianxin, Wang Hongtao, Wang Xiaobin, and Zhang Jianhua were elected members of the standing committee of the municipal party committee, and Jiang Dong was elected secretary of the municipal discipline inspection committee.
