The transfer of personnel in Tibet deserves attention.
On June 19, the Tibet Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission held a cadre meeting and announced that Wang Weidong was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and nominated as a candidate for the chairman of the District Supervision Commission. His predecessor, Wang Yongjun, recently took up the post of member of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.

Wang Weidong, male, Han ethnicity, born in May 1968, 51 years old, began working in August 1991, joined the Communist Party of China in November 1993, bachelor degree, master of engineering.
Wang Weidong has been working in the State Administration for a long time, and in his early years, he served as the deputy director of the Funding Department of the Financial Management Department of the State Organs Affairs Administration, the deputy director of the Material Management Department, the deputy director of the Government Procurement Office of the Central State Organs, the director of the Office of the Government Procurement Center, the director of the Real Estate Management Department of the State Administration in December 2010, and the director of the Office of the State Administration in March 2014.

In June 2016, Wang Weidong took up the post of deputy secretary-general of the New Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and director of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's Organ Affairs Administration, and after three years of working in this post, he parachuted into Tibet.
In the third round of inspections of the 19th Central Committee that began in March this year, Wang Weidong, as the leader of the Fifth Inspection Group of the Central Committee, led the team to enter the China North Industries Group, China North Industries Equipment Group, and China Electronics Information Industry Group.
At present, there are 15 members of the Standing Committee of the Tibet Party Committee, including 1 secretary, 4 deputy secretaries, and 10 other standing committee members, of which Wang Weidong is the youngest member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.

However, from the perspective of the whole country, Wang Weidong is not the youngest secretary of the provincial discipline inspection committee.
Liu Shuang, the 50-year-old secretary of the Hebei Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, was born in November 1969 and, like Wang Weidong, Liu Shuang was also an "airborne soldier" of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission.
Liu Shuang graduated from the Department of Command and Management of the Armored Forces Engineering College, majoring in military technical command of armored forces, and served as a deputy battalion officer of the Political Department of the Fengtai Armored Equipment Depot of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army, and worked in the second department of the Personnel Department of the State Council in May 1996.
In December 2014, he was then an inspector and deputy director of the Personnel Department of the General Office of the State Council, and he served as a discipline inspector, supervisor and deputy director of the Organization Department of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission, and from then until October 2018, he worked for the Central Discipline Inspection Commission for four years.
In October 2018, Liu Shuang, then director of the Organization Department (vice ministerial level) of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, parachuted into Hebei to serve as the secretary of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission.
At the national level, at least 16 provincial discipline inspection committee secretaries have worked in the Central Discipline Inspection Commission or have experience in inspection.

First, Wang Weidong is not the first deputy secretary-general of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission to be parachuted in, and Shi Kehui, currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, parachuted into Guangdong in 2017, after he was deputy secretary general of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission and director of the General Office (vice minister level).
Second, a number of provincial-level discipline inspection commission secretaries have served as directors of the discipline inspection and supervision office of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission.
Mu Hongyu, Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, was the director of the Sixth Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office (September 2015 to November 2016)
Liu Xuexin, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, was the director of the Ninth Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office (September 2015 to October 2016)
Chen Yankuan, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Shandong Province, was the director of the 10th Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office (January 2016 to October 2016)
Wang Xingning, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Shaanxi Province, served as director of the 11th Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office (October 2015 to December 2016)
In addition, the secretaries of the Discipline Inspection Commissions of Beijing Municipality and Liaoning Province served successively as directors of the 12th Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office – Chen Yong of Beijing served from March 2014 to September 2015, and Liao Jianyu of Liaoning Province served from November 2015 to June 2017.
It should be noted that before the institutional reform, the Supervision Department of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission set up a total of 12 discipline inspection and supervision rooms, and after the institutional reform, the State Supervision Commission of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission set up a total of 16 rooms, the first to eleventh was the supervision and inspection room, and the twelfth to sixteenth was the examination and investigation room.
