On the occasion of the 59th Anniversary of Lei Feng, on March 3, the Shicheng Youth League Committee and the New Era Civilization Practice Institute jointly organized the youth league members of the town organs and the medical staff of the community health service center to go to the Shicheng Village Happy Old Age Station to carry out the "Youth with sunset" volunteer service activity, conducting health free clinics for the elderly in the station, publicizing common disease prevention, daily health care and other knowledge, cleaning, and letting the elderly enjoy the happiness of the sunset.
At the event site, the volunteers acted separately. The volunteers of the town health center for the elderly prone to frequent diseases, free of charge for the elderly to measure blood pressure, blood sugar and other items, the results of the examination to answer the consultation, the establishment of health files, guidance for the elderly rational use of drugs, publicity of health care knowledge and prevention of hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and other diseases of the common sense, enhance the elderly's awareness of health protection, advocate a healthy lifestyle. Volunteers from the town government office took brooms to clean up the hygiene in the station, help the elderly sort out their internal affairs, and improve the comfortable and clean living environment for the elderly.
