In addition to the intense work, I also like to collect ancient coins, because the economic conditions are not very allowable, for decades there have only been some ordinary copper coins, copper plates and ordinary commemorative coins issued by our country.
At the beginning of 1995, I and the former deputy chief engineer of the company, vice chairman of the company's science and technology association Yang Weide, the company's propaganda director Wu Xiangang and several other numismatic enthusiasts to exchange coin collection experience, Yang proposed that we Juhua should set up a numismatic society, the Juhua love numismatic staff organization, we can exchange coin collection, research information, exchange coins, enrich amateur life, this proposal has been approved by the company's propaganda minister Wu Xiangang.
To set up a new social group, facing many problems and difficulties, first of all, there are some enthusiastic and enthusiastic people who love this work to be responsible for the preparation, the establishment of the relevant organizations to approve, the source of activity funds and a series of work, because I am in the company organs, everyone recommends me to be responsible for the preparation of the Juhua Numismatic Society. Our Numismatic Society must first be approved by juhua literary association, juhua company's literary association has more than 10 mass organizations such as the fine arts association, the calligraphy association, the photography association and the philatelic association, and the numismatic society has applied to become a mass group of the company's literary association. In addition, we are also actively in contact with the Zhejiang Numismatic Society to become their group members, and the Quzhou Numismatic Society is also in preparation.
We also actively contact the Quzhou Branch of the Chinese Bank of China and the Quhua Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, hoping that their relevant personnel can also participate in our society and distribute newly issued commemorative coins to the society, so that each member of our society can get the newly issued ordinary circulation commemorative coins from regular channels.
China began to issue commemorative coins and circulating commemorative banknotes for the 35th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China issued on October 1, 1984, and the circulating commemorative coins covered all aspects of China's politics, history, science and technology, humanities, rare animals and world natural heritage. Due to the opaque issuance information, in the 1990s, ordinary commemorative coins were just well known to the people, and the issuance of commemorative coins was distributed by the Chinese Bank to the four major banks of workers, agriculture, China and construction, but it was difficult for numismatic enthusiasts to exchange them from the bank to the commemorative coins, and could only buy them from the coin market at a high price. This has also caused a lot of problems, ordinary commemorative coins have become the object of resale and speculation, some people through various channels to get the ordinary commemorative coins "change hands" can earn 10 times or even more than ten times, high profits have contributed to the market "scalping" behavior, collectibles markets across the country have appeared many vendors and small shops that sell coins, the rise and fall of the market situation, deepening the collection enthusiasts' understanding of the collection and investment value of commemorative coins.
On the morning of August 1, 1995, I was responsible for holding the preparatory meeting for the establishment of the first "Juhua Group Company Numismatic Association" in the company's Propaganda Department Wenlian, and there were Wu Xiangang, director of the company's propaganda department, Yang Weide, former deputy chief engineer of the company, Chen Li'an, senior engineer of the public utility company, and Xu Muzhi, chief of the issuance section of the Quzhou Branch of the Chinese Bank, and Yan Liangbao, vice president of the Quhua Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and others to attend the meeting. At the meeting, I reported on the progress of the preparatory work of the association, and after full discussion, it was decided that the association would be established in early October, and the name of the association would be "Juhua Group Company Numismatic Research Association", and the membership would be controlled at about 40 people.
Since Quzhou City is also preparing for the establishment of the Numismatic Society, according to the proposal of the Zhejiang Numismatic Society, our preparatory committee and the company's literary association have consulted, and the establishment of the Juhua Numismatic Research Association will be after the establishment of the Quzhou Numismatic Society. The Preparatory Committee decided to hold a preparatory meeting for the establishment of the Association on November 18, so that coin lovers who want to join the Association can meet each other and learn about the Association's charter and work plan. On the afternoon of the 18th (Saturday), we held a preparatory meeting for the establishment of the "Juhua Group Company Numismatic Research Association" in the 4th conference room of Quhua Hotel, attended by Yang Weide, Gong Zeqiu, Wu Xiangang, Qin Xueli, Chen Li'an, Yan Liangbao, Xu Muzhi, Lou Yunbao and Juhua coin lovers of the Preparatory Committee of the Research Association, a total of 70 people, originally planned to absorb the first batch of 40 members, but the number of people who asked to participate in the seminar was relatively enthusiastic, and the number of preliminary registration members was as high as 70, including 5 members of Quzhou City. Deputy Chief Engineer Gong Zeqiu presided over the meeting and introduced the participants, Minister Wu Xiangang read out the approval of the Zhejiang Numismatic Society to absorb the Juhua Numismatic Research Association as a group member, Yang Weide introduced the members of the preparatory committee of the research association, Chen Lian introduced the draft charter of the research association, inviting everyone to revise and make suggestions, yang Weide introduced the preparatory situation and work plan of the research association. Subsequently, Qin Xueli exchanged the classification of numismatic collections, with the rise of the mass coin collection boom, one of the most practical problems encountered by numismatic enthusiasts in collecting, sorting, appraisal, exchange and research activities is how to evaluate the appearance of coins, the appearance of coins is closely related to the collection value and collection price of coins, and introduces the analysis and comparison of internationally popular coin grade standards and common grading methods in China, as well as the grading and grade standards of banknotes. Yang Weide introduced the experience of collecting the third set of renminbi. After many contacts and with the support of the Quzhou People's Bank, we obtained from the Issuance Section of the Quzhou People's Bank the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations issued by our country in 1995, the 50th anniversary of the victory of the anti-fascist war and the 3 commemorative coins in circulation of the Fourth World Conference on Women of the United Nations, which were given to each participant, and exchanged for each participant's face value for a new set of unused fourth sets of RMB 10 yuan, 5 yuan, 2 yuan, 1 yuan, 5 jiao, 2 jiao and 1 dime banknotes.
On May 3, 1996, in the conference room on the third floor of the company, I was responsible for holding a meeting of numismatic enthusiasts, the participants were Wu Xiangang, Chen Lian, Lou Yunbao, Shen Yinhuai, Wang Qiongfang, Jin Yijin, Xia Jinsong, Jia Jianping, Shen Minou and Zhuge Yaojin, etc. The meeting was mainly to inform and arrange the relevant matters of participating in the inaugural meeting of quzhou numismatic society on May 8, and 9 members of Quhua who participated in the inaugural meeting of Quzhou Numismatic Society got on the bus at 7:45 and went to the city at the entrance of Quhua Hotel. On the morning of May 9, the relevant matters and arrangements for the inaugural meeting of the "Juhua Numismatic Research Association" were held at the Quhua Hotel.
At 9:00 a.m. on May 8, the inaugural meeting of quzhou numismatic society was attended by Tong Xiaowu, chairman of quzhou municipal CPPCC committee, Wen Faren, secretary general of Zhejiang Numismatic Society, Cao Mingfeng, president of Quzhou People's Bank, Xu Wenrong, director of Quzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau and Cultural Bureau, Wu Xiangang, director of the Publicity Department of Juhua Group Company, and 70 members of the society. The meeting adopted the articles of association of the society and elected the first board of directors with Cao Mingfeng as the chairman. During the meeting, numismatic research reports were also held, and a Sino-foreign coin exhibition was held in the afternoon, exhibiting 1-4 sets of rmb, RMB counterfeit currency, treasury rolls, foreign exchange volumes, Republic of China silver dollars, Eagle Ocean, Chinese copper coins, Chinese copper dollars and Chinese spending coins.
On the morning of May 9, the inaugural meeting of the Juhua Numismatic Research Association was held at the Quhua Hotel, and wang Qifang, deputy secretary of the party committee of the company, Wu Xiangang, director of the Propaganda Department of Juhua Group Company, Gong Zeqiu, deputy chief engineer of Juhua Group Company, Zhao Zhongjian, executive vice chairman of Juhua Literary association, Yan Baoliang, vice president of Quhua Industrial and Commercial Bank, and 80 Quhua coin enthusiasts attended the inaugural meeting of the Juhua Numismatic Research Association. Yan Baoliang, Xu Muzhi and Lou Yunbao, Chen Li'an concurrently served as secretary general, Lou Yunbao concurrently served as deputy secretary general, and hired Jin Yijin as the secretary of the research association.
On the afternoon of the 9th, I, Wu Xiangang, Chen Li'an, Yang Weide, Zhuge Yaojin and others took out part of the coin collection for exhibition, and we issued 1 gold snub-nosed monkey commemorative coin issued by China in 1995 for each member who attended the meeting, which we purchased from the numismatic market at the market price at that time.
Rushing and busy are a kind of happiness, in addition to work and life and hobbies, after work, can have a hobby, focus on learning, research and collection, occasionally "wasted" time, then feel that life is not wasted, from love, happiness comes from perception, there is spiritual sustenance, will also calm down, quietly to find, when the acquisition of the heart collection, often not only ability, but also mentality and vision.
