From December 31, 2019 to January 2, 2020, Takarazuka Opera Company OG will take the stage of the Guangzhou Opera House, and Guangzhou is also the first stop on this tour. This is the first time for Takarazuka OG to bring a complete "drama" to the Chinese mainland tour, and inherits Takarazuka's usual style: a complete play in the first half, and a classic song and dance show in the second half.
Three former Takarazuka top stars (TOP), as well as 23 actors, Aoyama Yuki and Tsubaki Ryohana, who are also popular and powerful during the group, will accompany the Yangcheng audience on New Year's Eve.
The century-old Takarazuka Opera Company that has swept Japan
Takarazuka Opera Company has a history of more than 100 years, and its biggest feature is that the entire troupe is composed of unmarried women, and the male characters in the opera are played by girls, that is, "male servants", corresponding to "female servants".
Takarazuka Musical is very good at the scene, exquisite makeup, gorgeous costumes, brilliant lights and magnificent symphonic effects make the scene very shocking. "TOP Male Servant" plays a flawless male image in the performance: handsome and golden, brave and resourceful, tall, romantic and affectionate, or a noble prince of the family, or a hero of the wind. On the stage, they are women's dream lovers, and the gorgeous stage and romantic lines attract every audience into this dream world.
Takarazuka Opera's members are limited to unmarried women, so a considerable number of members will leave the troupe because they are married or ready to get married, and there are not a few members who leave the troupe based on personal future plans. These members of the group are called Takarazuka OG (old generation), and the group itself is called "graduation".
In recent years, the Takarazuka Opera Troupe's famous OGs include Masayoshi Daichi, Hitomi Kuroki, Yuki Tenkai, Yoshiyo Asana, Tanori, and Jun Setsu.
In the future, there will be three TOP performers in Guangzhou. Former snow group male servant TOP Gaoling Blowing Snow, she was the partner of Asia's first Princess Xixi Hua Zong truth, and was called "Gaoling Daddy", "Demon King Daddy" or "Yan Wang" by fans. Former month group maid TOP Ma Nai Yoshishi, she was the partner of the well-known actor Tenkai Yuki, "Sea Pot" and "Tofu" both graduated on the same day, "Tenma" CP is still a must-have for many Takarazuka powder. Former Snow Group Lady Top Dance Wind Liluo, she was once the partner of the strength male TOP Chao Haiguang who sang and danced well. In addition to the three TOP, the tour will also feature another 20 selected OG actors of the Takarazuka Opera Company, with larger layers of actors, from the post-60s to the post-90s.
As a teenager, they passed a difficult exam multiplied by 20-40 times to enter the Takarazuka Music School and struggled in the strict hierarchy of Takarazuka School and troupes. Top Lan Shoufu, a former male servant of the former flower group who has retired from the group, said in his speech: "Takarazuka is a place where everyone can fight for their lives for their dreams"; "There is no place that can be more attractive, more painful, and more happy than Takarazuka."
Withdrawing from the group does not mean the end of the effort, "lifelong suspense" is the purpose of each Takarazuka people for life, some of them retreat behind the scenes, some develop in the direction of film and television, and some continue to stay on the stage, no matter where they are, they all play the unique glory of the century-old Takarazuka as the same Takarazuka OG. From December 31st to January 2nd, Guangzhou audiences will have the opportunity to experience the charm of Takarazuka Opera Company OG at the Guangzhou Opera House.
