Among them, 43,173 pure electric models were sold, and 44,300 plug-in hybrid models were sold. Sales in January were down about 5.2% month-on-month, and BYD sold 92,926 new energy vehicles in January.

Affected by the Spring Festival holiday, February should have been a cyclical sales off-season, and the February sales of many new energy brands fell sharply compared with January.
The reason why BYD maintained a strong momentum is mainly because on January 21 this year, BYD issued the "Explanation on Model Price Adjustment", making it clear that all BYD models will increase in price by 1,000 to 7,000 yuan on February 1, and users who were scheduled before February 1 were purchased at the original price, and the promotion before this wave of price increases played a great role.
Another reason is that BYD's production capacity has slowly kept up, and during the Spring Festival, BYD also launched the "Li ma banana car" (immediate delivery) service, ensuring that BYD's sales in February fell by only 5.2% compared with January.
