When fleeing for their lives became the main purpose in the minds of these Nazi extremist organizations in the Azov battalion, they naturally did not have any decent military discipline, and naturally they would not honestly obey the command of the Ukrainian government forces and continue to confront the Russian army and chechen armed forces on the battlefield.
But after the ballistic missiles destroyed the headquarters of the Azov battalion in Mariupol, would the Ukrainian government forces really be able to command the remaining troops of the Azov battalion? I can't see it. Battalion Azov, Aydar, or Homeland Defense are in fact the product of the Ukrainian government's indulgence in the large-scale development of ultra-nationalist organizations.
In other words, the Ukrainian government, which had relied on these Nazi extremists to come to power, had long been filled with a large number of Nazi extremists in its government apparatus and army command organs. When the situation in Mariupol deteriorated, the Azov battalion did not listen to the command, and the Ukrainian government forces could take it out on their own. But what about when the war situation in the East Ukrainian Army Group and the Kiev region of the Ukrainian government army has deteriorated? Will the Ukrainian government forces be able to control the remaining soldiers of the Azov Battalion?
The Nazi extremists were a group of bullying and hard-hitting people, and the more brutal they were against women, children, the elderly, and prisoners of war, the more they proved that they would collapse and flee as soon as they encountered bad conditions.
