Pan Zhiwen, a female, actively explored the establishment of a people's mediation work mechanism for marriage and family disputes during her tenure as director of the Rights and Interests Department of the Haikou Women's Federation, established a marriage and family dispute mediation committee, actively coordinated and resolved issues involving family marriage disputes, domestic violence, and land distribution for foreign-married women, and effectively safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of women and children. Concerned about women in distress, nearly 1.28 million yuan was raised to help 108 poor mothers suffering from cancer; 600,000 yuan was raised to support 200 single mothers in special poverty.
