Sting, the third of the twenty-four solar terms. As the saying goes, "if the name is not correct, it is not smooth", Chinese attaches great importance to taking names, let alone naming eternal time. Twenty-four solar terms, the names are beautiful, and the most beautiful name is the sting. Sting, the "Explanation of Words" explains as "hiding also", that is, bugs hiding in the ground and not eating or moving. What alarms the hibernating bugs? Spring Thunder. The "Explanation of the Seventy-Two Waiting For the Moon Order" says, "All things are shocked, and the earthquake is thunder, so it is known as a sting." It was the stinging that flew away. Spring thunder alarmed the sleeping insects, condensed into two words "sting", the dynamic structure, similar to the verb noun in English. Compared with pure nouns, action, process, and image are much stronger.
Do bugs have a sense of hearing? Were the bugs awakened by spring thunder? I don't know if there is a scientific basis, but this does not prevent the stinging poems from being very beautiful. The Song Dynasty poet Wang Yuwei (chēng) "Spring Residence Miscellaneous", is simply a poetic version of the word "sting": "One night in the spring thunder and a hundred stings, the mountain family fence fell snakes and insects." Gratuitous earthworms fight for their heads, touching the berry moss like a rainbow. "Overnight, snakes and insects were awakened by spring thunder and haunted the fences of the mountain savages." Hundred stings", naturally there are many kinds, the poet picked the earthworms that are often cut and sectioned experiments to close up, the soft earthworms in the eyes of ordinary people, at this moment, the qi runs through the long rainbow, and the head is held high to drill out the mossy earth. The poet's perspective is funny and mischievous, much like a child lying on the ground looking at it. Also writing about stings, Wang Yuwei wrote about mutations, and the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Fangping's "Moonlit Nights" wrote about gradients: "Deeper moonlight half-family, the Big Dipper is dry and the south is oblique." Tonight I know that the spring is warm, and the sound of insects is new through the green window screen. The poem is more idyllic and beautiful. Whether it is mutation or gradual change, or the time of shock, the changes in nature have been unreservedly presented to us.
China is big, Lingnan has long been thunderous in the spring, and the north of Saibei is still snowy and icy. Everything that is beautiful in the world needs the call of spring thunder. Spring thunder is the footsteps of the spring girl, the concerto of the revival of all things, and the real natural sound.
Each solar term is divided into three seasons. Startling the first "peach Shihua", the peach blossoms began to spit out fanghua, it was not yet the season of blooming, as the Song Dynasty poet Wang Zao wrote, "The peach blossoms are out of the hedge and laughing, as if they are not blooming the most emotional." The second waiting "Cang Gengming", Cang Geng is the yellow warbler, the big star in the poem: "Play the yellow warbler, Mo Jiaozhi on the branch" "Stay and play butterflies from time to time, the free warbler just cries", primary school students can recite a lot. How could the ancients, who were better at observing, be mistaken by the simple fact that the eagle and the dove were two kinds of birds? Zhang Dai, a literary scholar of the Ming Dynasty, said that in the spring, everything grows, the eagle no longer kills, it is as gentle as a dove, and when it preys on the winter in the autumn, it returns to its fierce nature. This interpretation is in line with Chinese worldview.
Spring is the season of flowers. The first is the peach blossom, followed by the di tang, the golden yellow of the tang flower, the Song Dynasty poet Fan Chengda wrote: "Green land wisps of gold knots, for whom to open poor spring." Finally, there is the rose, writing the poems of the rose, the most famous is "there are sentient peonies with spring tears, powerless roses lying on the branches", Qin Guan's works are weak, represented by these two poems, far less than the freshness and nature of "the crystal curtain moves the breeze, and the roses are full of incense" - the author Gao Biao is a great general of the late Tang Dynasty, this poem was written in early summer, because in the mountains, the flowers bloom later. "April in the world is exhausted, and the peach blossoms of the mountain temple begin to bloom", there is no special reason, it is because of the high altitude, the ancients have long understood the truth of "the high place is not cold".
