Takahata's starring series "The Alien" will premiere on November 28

The premiere of the WOWOW series Alien (all 5 episodes and the first episode is free) is set for November 28, while the show's visual poster and 30-second special film are now available.

The poster released this time has the Japanese style unique to Kyoto photography in the background, and the picture is scattered with water lilies throughout the story. In the strong unstable tone of the suspenseful style, the copywriting attracts attention: what exactly is the "secret of arrogance".

Set against the backdrop of the Art Museum and the beautiful streets of Kyoto, this special film tells the story of the love, hate, and doubts that have swept through the Kyoto art scene, and plays the prelude to the mystery of the case. The protagonist, Naoho Kanae (Takahata), Naoho's husband Kazuki (Shunsuke Kazema), the Japanese painter Teruyama Shimura (Matsushige Toyo), and the nameless genius painter Around Teruyama, Bai Bai shu (SUMIRE), each with their thoughts intertwined, triggering unexpected events.

The play is adapted from Harada Maiye's artistic suspense novel of the same name, Alien (PHP Literary Library). Harada works as an art curator, and many of her novels, such as God of Cinema and Prime Minister's Husband, have been adapted into film and television works. Takahata starred as the granddaughter of a genius art collector who inherited her artistic talent and was born with a pair of eyes to identify treasures. She was fascinated by a painting by an unknown artist, and in order to make it public, she went deep into the hidden secrets of the Kyoto painting scene and confronted the industry's titans.
