On 2 March 1941, we lifted the second league title trophy in the club's history. At that time, it was the Red and White Corps of madrid's Air Force Sports Team, which left a strong mark on the club's history - winning the league title for two consecutive years, the first and only time so far.

That afternoon, the final round of the league, we played at the Ballecas Stadium for Real Orvieto. The team led the table with 31 points, and in second place was Athletic Bilbao, and they had the same points as us, so we could only ensure that we would defend our title if we won this game. The team's manager at the time was Spanish football legend Ricardo Zamora, who regained the whip from La Fonte in the 11th round. Zamora sent the following 11 starters for the match:

Tabales, Tabel, Aparicio, Gabirondo, Germain, Machin, Manin, Arencia, Pruden, Campos, Vazquez

Needless to say, our players know the importance of this game, and just 6 minutes into the game, Manin opened the scoring for the team, and in the 36th minute, it was Manin's goal that extended our lead. Campos then scored a goal in the 47th minute that sealed the win, and the team won 3-0! We ended the battle with a perfect ending and left the championship trophy in the club's honor room!

We achieved an unbeaten record of 8 wins and 3 draws in the 11 rounds of the second round of the league, and we have maintained the posture of impacting the championship, and finally won the championship to defend the title. In the 22 rounds of the season, the team scored a total of 70 goals, tied for first place with Sevilla, while conceded 36 goals, just more than Athletic Bilbao, the second-fewest team in the league. Proudn was crowned the season's top scorer with 33 goals and was also the first player in the club's history to win the top scorer.

In 1939, with the end of the Spanish Civil War, our team faced a very complicated situation both institutionally and athletically. At that time, the best solution was to merge with the Air Force – a club made up of footballers and soldiers who excelled at playing football. On October 4, 1939, the club's joint agreement was signed, and Madrid Air Force Sport was born (later officially renamed Atlético de la Défense de Madrid in January 1941). This allowed us to participate in the league for the first season after the end of the Civil War, opening another glorious chapter in the club's history (1939-1947) and winning the first two league titles in the club's history.
