Nearly $10 million in cryptocurrencies were donated to Ukraine

The Ukrainian government appealed for donations to resist the Russian invasion and provide assistance to those affected, which was enthusiastically supported by the crypto community, which raised nearly $10 million in Ether and Bitcoin.
According to on-chain data, $5.2 million has been received in the Ethereum wallet that is working hard.
This includes $1.1 million for Tether and $109,000 for USDC.
FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried donated $250,000 to Tether, HTTP://Chain.com CEO Deepak Thapliyal donated 100 ether (about $277,000).
The data shows that Ukraine currently holds cryptocurrencies in the ERC20 wallet and has not yet been withdrawn.
Bitcoin wallets in Ukraine have received $4.2 million. The country has withdrawn $2.9 million of that.
Over the weekend, Russian art group Pussy Riot helped form a DAO that raised $3 million in Ether for war and humanitarian relief.
A separate Ukrainian army donation wallet run by the charity Combine Back Alive has raised $6 million since its inception in mid-2021.
