Following the decision to revoke the right to host official events, the FIVB Administrative Committee has confirmed that all National Teams, clubs, officials and beach volleyball and snow volleyball players from Russia and Belarus are not eligible to participate in all international and continental events until further notice, the FIVB statement said.
The FIVB remains gravely concerned about the ongoing fighting in Ukraine and its terrible impact on the lives of many people, and fully stands in solidarity with the volleyball community and the Ukrainian people, and sincerely hopes to find a peaceful solution as soon as possible.
The UEFA declaration includes all Russian and Belarusian volleyball players. In addition, the Administrative Committee of the UEFA has suspended the functions of members of the Russian and Belarusian Volleyball Associations in all their bodies.
