Grandma is the biggest contributor to our family. When my father was 4 years old, my grandfather died of illness, and my grandmother pulled my father up with hard work, and later married my father, and then pulled up 5 of our brothers and sisters, and brought up my eldest brother's two children in the 80s of the last century.
From widowhood in 1938 to death in 1996, the amount of suffering suffered by a rural woman in a poor family is unimaginable to modern people. With delicious food, Grandma was always reluctant to eat, all left for us.
Grandma never expected anything in return, and was sometimes satisfied. I remember that the most common thing she ever said was, "I never dreamed of such a big family." When I was in junior high school, I lived on campus for a week, and every Sunday afternoon before I went back to school, she always had to cook me a meal and let me eat and go to school.
Grandma, I don't know if you can forgive me under the Nine Springs, but I will not forgive myself under any circumstances. I have fallen from a proud son who jumped out of the farm door to a corrupt criminal today, what face do I have to worship at your grave, I am ashamed of your love! I am not only a sinner of the state and society, but also a sinner of the family.
The most reassuring thing now is the child
The three of us brothers have their own families, and it is not too much to get together. That is, the Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the birthday of our parents and the day of the grave for my grandmother, the three of us brothers gathered together with our parents, drinking and talking about family affairs and work matters. At this time, my parents were particularly happy, they were both 79 years old, although their health was not very good, but the family's dinner was very happy. This year's Qingming Festival, I can't be reunited with my parents, brothers, and family, and I don't know if my parents know my current situation. I don't know what my brother, sister, wife, and sister-in-law are worried about my affairs these days. I am ashamed of my high hopes for my family, let them worry about me, I will not know how to face them in the future, I am a sinner of the family.
During the Qingming Dynasty, when everything was revived, the grass was long and the warblers flew, and there were three days of small holidays, I was supposed to take the children to embrace nature, relax and enjoy life, but I entered the detention center. The most reassuring thing now is my child, who hasn't seen me or taken my phone for half a month, and now he probably knows my current situation. Whether he can bear it, whether he will not be able to lift his head in front of his classmates, whether he will be distracted during class and affect his studies, or simply cry and shout not to go to school, he must wait for me to come back, I don't know. But I know one thing, that is, my accident this time, the blow to the child is huge, the consequences are immeasurable. I am ashamed of my child, let the child at the age of 15 bear the social and family pressure that he should not bear, I am a failed father.
What has been learned is not translated into action
I am a person who likes to learn, but the principles I have learned are not implemented into action, and learning and doing are not synchronized. Reading "University" knows "qualities, knowledge, sincerity, righteousness, self-cultivation, family unity, governance, and peace in the world", but I have not really achieved "sincerity, righteousness, and self-cultivation". Reading "The Mean" knows that "erudition, discernment, interrogation, prudent thinking, and perseverance" are known, but I have not done "discernment, interrogation, and careful thinking" in front of money. Reading the Analects, I know that the common people hate tyranny and say that "harsh government is stronger than tigers," but I use the state's policy of benefiting farmers for my own benefit.
Since I started working in 1991, I have worked for more than 20 years, I have done some work, and the party and the government have also given me many honors. I went from an ordinary cadre to the position of deputy mayor of townships and towns and deputy secretaries of party committees step by step, which is beyond the reach of many people. I should have cherished my honor and done more work for the party and the people, but I did not resist the temptation of interests and embarked on the road of crime. Reading Mencius, I know that "fish and bear paws cannot have both", and now I understand that if you want to develop your name in your career, you should keep to yourself and withstand the temptation of money, and if you want to make profits, you should give up your career to create wealth yourself. It is inevitable that someone like me will use the power entrusted by the party and the people to seek personal interests for oneself.
I've been reflecting these days that it's no accident that I've come to this point. There are three main reasons: First, in the face of money, reason has not been able to overcome temptation and luck; The second is that the sense of responsibility for the family is not in place, in the past, I only knew that with money I could make my family live a good life, and today I know that I fell to this point is the biggest irresponsibility for them; Third, I mistakenly believe that greed for points is a common phenomenon and will not be known.
It is precisely because of their greed and luck that they not only ruined their own great future, but also brought irreparable losses to their families and caused a very bad impact on society. It is too late to say anything now, but I do realize how people should live, that is, no matter how much you eat or eat, it does not matter how much you earn, but every day is safe and steadfast, you can often go to your parents to do a little filial piety, you can sit around the house with your wife and children to eat, watch TV, that is a happy life. What used to seem like a plain life has become the biggest luxury for me today.
There is still a long way to go in life, and in the future, I will definitely achieve the unity of knowledge and deeds, and the consistency of words and deeds.
