Li Weihua, the number May Day resident. He studied at the China Academy of Art and other schools, and is now engaged in calligraphy and painting education and creation in Hangzhou.
He is currently the president of Hangzhou Weizhi Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a senior academician of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a member of the China Association of Calligraphy and Painting, a professor of the second training center of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Danqing Calligraphy and Painting Institute of China Education Television, a director of the Old Professor Art Research Association of China Academy of Art, a visiting professor of the Confucius Art Museum, a member of the council of Zhejiang Kaiming Painting Academy, and a special tutor of the "Danqing Song Han Mo Qing" column group of Jinan Radio and Television Station.
He was invited to Zhejiang University and other universities, primary and secondary schools, and libraries to give nearly 100 lectures.
Since 1985, Li Weihua's calligraphy works have won the first prize of the National Competition, and his Chinese painting works have won the silver medal of the National Competition, and his calligraphy and painting works have been exhibited in the China Printing Museum, the Great Hall of the People of Zhejiang Province, the Zhejiang Art Museum, the Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, and the City Hall of the 15th Arrondissement of Paris, France. Calligraphy works are collected by the Embassy of Kazakhstan as a state gift.
