When he knew that he had been selected, Shi Jingyu was very excited. "I'm going to perform on such a big stage that even the whole world can see me!" Participating in the Winter Olympics is of great significance to Shi Jingyu, who has just turned 20.
In addition to the excitement, Shi Jingyu also deeply felt that the mission was glorious and the responsibility was heavy. Soon she had a hard training session. In the early stages of training, she has to combine training and learning. "The director is notoriously announcing the rehearsal time, and I am afraid of a conflict between the training time and the class time." Shi Jingyu said, "But the directors still understand us very well, basically our training is scheduled on the weekend, and there is no delay in the study of professional classes." ”
Slowly, Shi Jingyu adapted to the life of attending classes from Monday to Friday and training in the school gymnasium on Saturday and Sunday, cherishing every opportunity to train. Shi Jingyu said that in order to save time, during those days, her daily necessities were basically purchased online.
In mid-December, the school was on winter break. Shi Jingyu and the other students who participated in the training ground went to Lucheng, Daxing District, Beijing. There, she met for the first time with all the actors she had on the show. "The whole show has 365 people, including the elderly, teenagers, and children, and I was a little confused at the time, there are so many people in this show, I am afraid that the performance will go wrong." Shi Jingyu said.
In addition to worrying about the effect of the show's interpretation, Shi Jingyu also faced the long training of leaving at six o'clock every morning and returning to the dormitory every night at ten or even eleven o'clock. "I can't sleep enough." Talking about that experience, Shi Jingyu said mischievously, "After returning to the dormitory after training every day, I just want to close my eyes and rest quickly." ”
Shi Jingyu said that in the more than 50 days of rehearsal programs in Lucheng, whether it was in a temporary venue or at the Bird's Nest, almost all of them were carried out outdoors. Sometimes the temperature drops to minus 20 degrees Celsius at one point, and in order to overcome the cold, I wrap all the clothes I can wear. "When it's cold, I have six or seven warm babies on my body, and I also carry some medicine to prevent colds." Shi Jingyu said that the body is tired, but the spirit is excited. Even if the cast members are frozen and their hands and feet are almost numb, in order to achieve the perfect effect, everyone still insists on running in over and over again, walking positions and practicing formations. Even two days before the closing ceremony, the cast and crew were fine-tuning the formation according to the references around them.
From early morning to night, from Lidong to Lichun, from indoor to outdoor, from school to Lucheng, from training base to bird's nest, Shi Jingyu insisted on training and rehearsal hard. "When you are sleepy, you will directly lie on the floor and sleep for a while," Shi Jingyu said of the training time in Lucheng, "time is tight, the intensity is high, many times it is to eat and rest on the spot, now think about it, the conditions are a little difficult." At that time, I had only one belief in my heart - to go to the Bird's Nest to perform a good show and watch the five-star red flag rise on the spot. ”
Knowing that their daughter rehearsed hard, her parents who were far away in their hometown Fengfeng also called many times to cheer up. "My family is very supportive of me, they feel that I can participate in the Winter Olympics, they are very proud, and they told their relatives and neighbors about it!" Shi Jingyu, who is proud of her parents, is also very happy in her heart, "Although I was not able to go home for the New Year, I think it is worth it when I think of adding glory to the motherland and witnessing this Olympic festival night with the world!" ”
On February 20, Shi Jingyu and other cast members who were ready to go entered the Bird's Nest in turn and were about to perform officially. "On the 20th, we only got the props to be used on the stage," Shi Jingyu recalled, "each of us held 6-7 light sticks with green light in our hands, which represented willow branches and expressed our attachment to all the participating athletes." ”
