The ONE Championship "X" tournament to be held in Singapore on March 26, the official announcement of a closely watched second-middleweight duel between two legendary veterans, Aoki Makoto also played against Akiyama Seiho.
Masaya Aoki (47-9, 4 K, 30 S, 1 N) is 38 years old and has a height of 180cm and an arm span of 183cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2003 and won the MiddleWeight Championship in 2006 before successfully defending his title once. He won the WAMMA Lightweight In 2008 and the DREAM Lightweight in 2009 and defended the title twice. He won the ONE Championship Lightweight Title in 2013 and has since defended his title twice. In 2016, he lost the title by Eduard Folayang's TKO in the third set, won the first set of the second game with Flayan in 2019 and regained the one championship lightweight champion gold belt again, regrettably lost the title by Christian Lee's second set TKO in May, and has won four consecutive wins so far, just won the first leg of the three matches with Flayan in April last year.
Akiyama Seriho (15-7, 6 K, 7 S, 2 N) is 46 years old and has a height of 177cm and an arm span of 191cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2004, won the Hero's Light Heavyweight Championship in 2006, joined the UFC in 2009 with a (12-1, 2 N) result and 11 consecutive wins, and achieved a (2-5) result at the UFC in 2015. Joined the ONE Championship in 2019 with a score of (14-6, 2 N), beating Agilan Thani in the first match point of the ONE Championship and just after the first leg of KO Sharif Mohamed in February 2020.
