At that time, she was just a schoolgirl with high braids, and no one expected that one day she would be in the sports world.

1982 is an important year for the Chinese women's volleyball team, that is, in this year, the Chinese women's volleyball team narrowly defeated the Japanese team to win the first world championship; it was also in this year that the women's volleyball team reached the stage of alternating between the old and the new.
In this year, the 21-year-old Yang Ceylon was selected for the national team as the successor of the second passer Sun Jinfang.

As the first "superstar" in the history of Tianjin volleyball, Yang Ceylan has long heard of his ball skills. In 1984, she finally stood on the podium with her teammates for the Los Angeles Olympic women's volleyball championship.

From 1981 to 1984, the Chinese women's volleyball team won the championship consecutively, winning the world's first "five consecutive championships". In such a highlight moment, the spirit of the women's volleyball team once became an indispensable part of the Chinese spirit.
Soon, lang ping, the first-class hero of the team, "iron hammer" had to retire due to serious injuries, and Yang Ceylan took her place.
Unexpectedly, the glory of the Chinese women's volleyball team gradually faded.
Lang Ping's retirement was really a helpless move, because of his physical pain, he had to leave the team at a critical moment, but it caused a huge blow to the whole team. At the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, the Chinese women's volleyball team lost for the first time after the "five consecutive championships" and lost to the Soviet women's volleyball team.
