Naughty Sun (Children's Poem)
Text/Pei Yuping (Yuping)
The sun is my good friend
I'm upset when I wake up in the morning
It would cry and would be lazy on the big bed on the horizon
Wipe your tears before you go to work in heaven
The red face hung in the east before it was rubbed
The sun wakes up so early every day
It is a small child
It was a girl when she was crying
When you don't cry or make trouble, you look like a boy
I asked Grandma if the Sun was a princess or a prince
She laughed and laughed the same
At night the moon wanted to come out and play
The sun didn't want to go back to sleep
It played its temper again in the heavens to the west
Grandpa Yun cai took out a pocket as big as the sky
Coax the sun into a deep sleep
