Suzhou Pingjiang teachers and students make "artifacts" and "fly with" information collection

author:Suzhou photographer Wang Jiankang

On February 22, 2022, Zheng Bei, a party member teacher at Suzhou Pingjiang Experimental School, tried to make a simple mobile phone scanning ID card holder from existing discarded packaging lids, cardboard, mobile phone support rings and other materials, and sent it to the hands of community nucleic acid testing staff. This mobile phone holder can free the hands of the staff and make the nucleic acid testing operation easier and faster, but its production volume is far from keeping up with the demand. Therefore, Ms. Zheng Bei, who is the class teacher and labor technician of Class 57, sent the production process and the final finished product to the class group, encouraging the children to use the materials at home to try to do it themselves, and provided the finished work to the staff of the nucleic acid collection point.

In less than an hour, the simple brackets of Yang Ruhua, Jiang Chenxi, Qu Liurui, Lu Yan and other students were freshly baked, and they sent these stents to the staff of the nearby nucleic acid testing point in time, hoping that their own labor could alleviate the hardships of the staff and help them effectively improve the efficiency of testing.

Zhang Mengna's mother has been volunteering since the beginning of the epidemic. In her work, she found that some citizens do not have ID cards and need to enter them manually, but when they wear gloves and point to the screen of their mobile phones, they often have "poor contact". After the daughter knew, she tried to wrap the cotton swabs on both ends of the tin foil, made a simple touch screen pen, and suddenly solved a big problem for her mother.

Although the moss rice flowers are small, they also learn to bloom peonies. From this hands-on mobile phone scanning ID card holder to the production of other nucleic acid testing creative gadgets, the students of class five (7) clearly and deeply realized that in the process of epidemic prevention, everyone can contribute.
