author:TOPHER

Nowadays, the forms of urban carrier space are becoming more and more diverse, more and more complex cultural spaces are emerging, and new spaces, new offices, new retail, new communities and other forms are also dazzling. At the same time, industry ecosystems such as industrial investment, which support its growth and development, are also rising. Since its establishment in 2016, Wenxin Space, which is a subsidiary of Beiwen Investment, has developed rapidly and has successfully operated and managed up to 10 cultural and creative parks, serving nearly 1,000+ cultural enterprises.

Adhering to the concept of not simply creating a space, but serving cultural enterprises with temperature, Wenxin Space combines the operation of the park with the cultural core to create a set of its own service ecological closed loop.

On the afternoon of February 2, Xu Wei, general manager of Wenxin Space, as the 193rd torchbearer, relayed the Olympic flame at the Beijing Winter Olympic Park. Such a unique experience made her feel excited and proud to be able to participate on behalf of Wenxin. What is it like to be a torchbearer? How does Wenxin Space serve the cultural industry in depth? Xu Wei answered us one by one in the TOPHER live broadcast room.

The following is a transcript of the conversation:

Kiki Gao: Let's start with the inner space.

Xu Wei: Wenxin Space is a comprehensive service provider of cultural industry, which is our positioning for our own brand. The main business is divided into three sections, one part is cultural space, one part is industrial services, and the other part is cultural activities.

Wenxin Space began to do industrial parks from the space, and in 2019, the team began to think about the future direction and what the brand wanted to do. More connections between enterprises are space, if we move away from the park, we will lose the connection, this is not the answer that Wenxin wants, space should not be a restriction, but also a carrier. Later, we found the direction of expression of industrial aggregation and financial means space, and through service connection, we can achieve both space and transcend space. Therefore, at the end of 2019, we launched a membership program to invite outstanding cultural enterprises that have not settled in the park to achieve gathering outside the space.

Now I am particularly pleased to see that through such a gathering, there are a lot of small partners in various cultural sub-industries who have joined in, building a very good ecology, and it is very positive and healthy, and everyone has a lot of exchanges and cooperation here. In the future, we can also work together on the platform to do some more interesting things.

Kiki Gao: Share the experience of the Torchbearers of the Winter Olympics.

Xu Wei: Every time my friends hear about the rare experience of the Winter Olympic torchbearers, the first is to congratulate me, and the second is to ask me if I have an ice pier. Unfortunately, there is only one torch, which originally contained accelerants, which has been removed by professionals after the passing, and now it is a torch that has been truly baptized by the Olympic flame.

I would also like to take this opportunity to give a real name to all the small partners of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, including all those who participate in the service and activity guarantee. After personal experience, I feel that the service is very thoughtful, and the needs you can think of and the needs you have not thought of can help you achieve. There are 1,200 torchbearers in Beijing, and it is also a great honor to have such an experience, and I would like to thank Wenxin Space for giving me the opportunity.

On the day of check-in, tell everyone that there is a big gift package in everyone's room. At that time, we had to do nucleic acid testing in advance, and we couldn't move around until the report came out.

We received online training for torchbearers before we started. Torch relay is a ceremony, when holding the torch, the logo must be facing outwards, handing over the hands, etc., and the training is bilingual in Chinese and English. The Olympic Torch Relay is particularly solemn and has a clear start time. I participated in the Winter Olympic Park section pass, the first stick was Wang Meng, I was the 193rd stick. When passing the torch, you can take the special passage of the Winter Olympics on the highway, and the return trip will no longer occupy public resources. The organizing committee has considered many aspects, not only to meet the actual needs, but also to consider the impact on the lives of the public to minimize.

Kiki Gao: Over the years, your personal changes have been very big.

Xu Wei: I think it is two aspects, first of all, I am very grateful to the platform for giving me the opportunity to contact many excellent entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs. I learned a lot in the process of communicating with them. On the other hand, many cultural activities have been organized in recent years, such as the exchange and sharing salon of the cultural industry. For example, in 2019, Wenxin Space launched a new activity sub-brand Wenxin Night Talk. There are also urban renewal topics, literature and art, cultural industries, film and television and other cross-border offline activities.

Nowadays, people's social circles are getting smaller and narrower, and the people they often contact are from friends and family, which is why everyone is particularly willing to read, because this is a new channel to expand interpersonal relationships.

In the inherent group, you hear more of the voices of this circle, and the sounds outside hear less and less. What you see and hear is limited, and meeting some new people may bring some new inspiration or empathy. In addition, the event invites founders or chairmen and general managers who have a deep understanding of the industry, and this cross-industry communication can be understood by simple language, which is also a learning process.

Kiki Gao: What's the biggest problem you've had in the workplace?

Xu Wei: I think that emotional problems do exist objectively, and there may be many times when people think that women's emotional fluctuations will be greater. Of course, I am a relatively extroverted person, and I have gotten better in recent years.

People have to learn to manage their emotions, and a very important point is the work ethic.

When you first enter the workplace, you may hear a lot of seniors talk about it, and they are also practicing it to let you see how professional workers should treat their work. I've heard less in the last few years, but self-discipline is important. Just like torchbearer training, these are very necessary. Why the main torch is lit at the end, in fact, we have passed on a lot through the ceremony, contained a lot, and also precipitated some very important things.

Whether it is taking the road of the workplace or the road of life, these are very valuable. When you look back one day, you will understand that these gave you the courage to overcome difficulties. When there is an emotional problem, look at it very objectively, and find a way to solve it when it happens.

Kiki Gao: Now you've seen a lot of results in being loyal to the workplace.

Xu Wei: This kind of result needs to be finally seen in many years of workplace precipitation, and the result will in turn remind us that many things need to have a sense of awe, including a sense of morality, rules, and boundaries.

Summed up last year, my biggest tip to myself and to the people around me is to live in society and in the workplace environment, and we must remind ourselves to have a sense of boundaries at all times.

Kiki Gao: Tell me about your cat.

Xu Wei: I have never raised small animals before, many people say that when I was a child, I raised chickens and rabbits, but I didn't have them. Our family is probably gasping for life except for me is a few pots of flowers. Last year a kitten came to our house by chance, very good-looking, a golden gradient, big green eyes, very cute, also very well-behaved. I'm at my best with it, it's rebellious, doesn't like any hugs, likes to hang out.
