Shi Jian, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in February 1986, joined the prison in December 2009, and joined the Party in January 2021. He is currently the director of the Jiuquan Prison Health Center, the attending physician, and the fourth-level sheriff. He has been commended by the prison once, and has been awarded outstanding civil servants and advanced individuals in epidemic prevention and control work.
Major deeds
At the beginning of last year, at the beginning of the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Comrade Shi Jian resolutely turned around and joined the first batch of closed prison duty teams, and quickly threw himself into the forefront of the epidemic prevention and control post in prison. As the person in charge of the health center, he also undertakes medical diagnosis and treatment work, carefully checks cold and fever cases every day, strictly implements the zero reporting system of duty duty and epidemic prevention and control, and has been closed in prison for 82 consecutive days, accumulating more than 300 days of duty.
For more than a year, he insisted on going to the prison area for inspection and consultation, understanding and grasping the situation of criminals, timely treatment and preventive intervention, and handling and referring many critical cases during the period. As a medical policeman, he actively explained the epidemic prevention and control policies to colleagues and criminals, popularized prevention and control knowledge, correctly wore masks, guided criminals to pay attention to personal hygiene, and maintained environmental hygiene and cleanliness; in order to alleviate the feelings of criminals missing their families, he arranged to make family phone calls to understand and grasp the family situation of criminals, help resolve worries, and stabilize reform. At the beginning of the year, after learning about the death of a convict's mother, considering that the criminal's mood was not suitable for nursing positions at that time, he temporarily adjusted and talked to him many times until he calmed down and re-entered the reform. In order to implement the requirements of epidemic prevention, he assisted the prison area to do a good job in disinfecting the prison buildings and art training places, guided the prison area to rationally prepare disinfectant liquid, and used disinfection equipment to prevent the epidemic scientifically.
After the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, he strictly implemented the prevention and control deployment of "external prevention of import, internal prevention and rebound" and "prevention of people and things at the same time", in addition to the daily diagnosis and treatment services of the health center, he also actively participated in the publicity of epidemic prevention and control and the work of entering and leaving the prison. In order to strive for early detection, early reporting, early isolation, and early treatment, he and his colleagues strictly implemented the physical examination system on the day of the prisoner's imprisonment, carefully inquired about the contact history before entering prison, measured body temperature, checked nucleic acid testing and CT reports, reviewed X-ray chest x-ray, and ensured zero input; on the basis of nucleic acid sampling, he also regularly completed the blood sampling of all prisoners admitted to prison to ensure effective screening and control of the transmission channels of various infectious diseases. Strictly implement nucleic acid testing, chest x-ray screening, and epidemic prevention knowledge education before criminals leave prison, ensure seamless docking with localities, and ensure that epidemic prevention and control is not relaxed. Every time he changed the guard, he and his colleagues completed the nucleic acid sampling of the auxiliary police of the change of defense to ensure the safety of the change of guard personnel.
After the vaccination work was launched in the first half of this year, the prison party committee attached great importance to and actively coordinated vaccines to win the first batch of vaccination opportunities for the whole prison. After receiving the notice of vaccination for the criminals, he led the health center to conscientiously make preparations before vaccination, in advance to grasp the physical condition of the criminals in each prison district, inquire about the past medical history and allergy history, screen out the unsuitable for vaccination, repeatedly check the identity information of the criminals to ensure that the vaccination work is safe and efficient, due to the active cooperation with the local disease control department, the vaccination was successfully completed, so that the vaccination rate of the whole prison reached more than 90% of the vaccinated personnel, becoming the first batch of jiuquan city new crown vaccination full coverage units.
During the closed duty period, Comrade Shi Jian silently persevered, and was recognized by the prison party committee, encouraged by his family and supported by his comrades-in-arms. After learning that the prison party members visited and comforted his family, he said emotionally: "I was deeply touched by the words of excitement and miss from the children, although we stuck to our posts, we are not alone, because there is organization and family support behind us." This year, I was recommended as an advanced individual in the anti-epidemic work of the Department of Justice and was commended by the unit. Comparatively speaking, I am just an ordinary member of the prison people's police who silently dedicate and persevere, and how fortunate I am to be able to fight side by side with my comrades-in-arms. In the face of the epidemic, I will continue to perform my duties with my comrades-in-arms, be a good 'gatekeeper', and practice the responsibilities and responsibilities of a Communist Party member with practical actions. ”
