An interview with Shohei Miura's new drama "If I Kissed Her Then" came

The TV series "If I Kissed Her Then" (TV Asahi TV every Friday night 11:15 -0:15) starring Momori Matsuzaka began airing on April 30, and we interviewed Shohei Miura before it started.

The game is created by the well-known love drama screenwriter Shizu Oishi, and the surprising "soul exchange" love comedy. Telling the story of the ultimate waste wood who does not want to get ahead and does not want to fall in love, a supermarket clerk named Momoji Wang (played by Matsubata) meets the author of his favorite manga "SEIKA No Kura" one day, and the pen name is Crab Kettle JOE Mizukiba (played by Kumiko Aso). Just as the relationship between the two of them was gradually heating up, Ba died in an accident. Just when Momochi is sad about this, a strange uncle who carries Ba's soul appears in front of him (played by Iura Shin).

Harumo Takamizawa, played by Miura, is the deputy editor of Weekly Shonen Makishimamu, a magazine that publishes SEIKA No Kuni, and is the person who understands Ba best. Not only has he served as its editor since the beginning of the series of "SEIKA's Space", but also Ba's ex-husband. Naturally, he became Matsuba's love enemy.

I interviewed Miura about TV dramas and characters.

■ "I hope everyone will watch with a relaxed mood and feel warm in laughter"

- Please describe your mood when you decide to appear in the show.

I feel very much looking forward to it. When I read the script, I was amused by the bridge section inside. At first, I felt that the story of soul exchange was really a lot, but I was looking forward to how this section of Mr. Oishi's writing would unfold.

As I read it, I was gradually attracted, and my mind was full of "Can I still do this?!" (Laughs)", "(Soul swapping) came too suddenly," right??" "These thoughts. The rhythm of the choreography is also very good, although it is hilarious, but in the follow-up development, it gradually reflects the warm side, which is not only a story that not only laughs, but also makes people feel warm.

——What kind of character is Harudou Takamizawa?

He worked as an editor with Ba, who is still a newcomer, to create SEIKA No Kuei, and is Also Ba's ex-husband. At that time, Takamizawa was still very young, and with the popularity of "SEIKA No Void", the relationship between husband and wife gradually broke down and eventually went to divorce. However, every time something happens after the divorce, he will still obediently be called out by Ba...

Because he is the deputy editor-in-chief, I think he should be capable of his work. Although he is very serious about his work, he only has a deep affection for SEIKA's Space, which I think is also a very important point related to the subsequent content of the story.

How will his love for Ba unfold?

I've talked to the producers about this, and they're not separated because they hate each other, but because the relationship between an editor and a cartoonist is broken, and I don't think Ba was separated from him because he hated him. So I really hope that the subtle relationship between them can be reflected in the play.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MATSUSAKA MOMO-LEE, WHO IS THE SAME AGE AS YOURSELF?

This is our first collaboration. I have seen many of his works, obviously the same age as me, but the acting skills are so superb, giving people a very mature feeling. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of style Matsubata will show in comedy works.

- The protagonist of the show, Momochi, is a character who has saved his life by the manga, and for Sangaura, is there such a thing as "changing life because of it" or "pillar of life"?

I also like to read comics. When I was a student, I played basketball under the influence of "Slam Dunk Master", and when I grew up, I would still watch "One Piece". I can say that I worked hard for a week for the weekly Shonen JUMP (Shueisha), which is released every Monday (laughs).

Is there anything you'd like to start doing or trying this spring?

It's not a time when you can try everything... In short, I hope that all aspects can restore calm as soon as possible.
