Ji Dong, a famous military calligrapher. Born in 1943 in Shangqiu, Henan, he was conscripted into the army from Xi'an City in 1961 and successively served as a soldier, squad leader, district captain and instructor of the Central Guard Regiment, and received many meritorious awards.

In 1968, he served as the secretary of Premier Zhou Enlai until his death in 1976. In 1976, he transferred to the Secretariat of the General Office of the State Council as the director of the Information Department, and in 1984, he re-enlisted as the director of the Security Department of the General Office of the State Council. In 1987, he was transferred to the Armed Police Headquarters Headquarters as the director of combat service and the director of the office. In 1994, he was appointed vice president of the Armed Police Command College and awarded the rank of major general. In 2002, he retired from the army and served as an advisor to the Zhou Enlai Deng Yingchao Research Center, the vice president of the Zhou Enlai Thought and Life Research Association, and the vice president of the Bayi General Star Calligraphy and Painting Institute. He is the author of "Unforgettable Eight Years" and "Extraordinary Years".

Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy, and he does not embellish the pool after work. In recent years, he has devoted himself to cursive writing, forming a fresh and bright, unrestrained and agitated style, and many works have been collected by relevant institutions and friends at home and abroad. In June 2018, he was elected as the cover person of the Magazine of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
