Lukaku set an embarrassing record in Chelsea's 1-0 Crystal Palace match, with Belgium touching the ball just seven times in the entire match, allowing him to break leicester goalkeeper Schmeichel's record, becoming the player with the fewest touches in a single game since the Premier League began counting in the 2/03 season.

There have been four "shows" in Premier League history where players have touched the ball less than 10 times in 90 minutes, namely last night's Lukaku (7), Schmeichel in 2019 (8), Vardy in 2018 (9) and Billy Sharp in 2021 (9).
