Ryan Day won 4-2 against Chinese rising star Chang Bingyu in the snooker Welsh Open qualifiers, so he managed to qualify for the Welsh Open main tournament on home soil, and so far the local players who have successfully entered the Welsh Open include Ryan Day, Matthew Stevens, Jak Jones, Jamie Clarke and Andrew Pagett.
