Why does normally flowing blood form a blood clot?

People's blood originally has two systems of "coagulation" and "anticoagulation", which are in a state of dynamic equilibrium under normal conditions.
Once one side loses its balance, there will be blood clots or bleeding. Occurs in cerebral blood vessels and can lead to cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction.
There are three major factors in thrombosis
1. Damage to the walls of blood vessels
Normal arterial vascular walls are smooth and elastic with intact vascular lining. Ensure that the blood flow is in the blood vessels, and can flow unimpeded.
Once the vascular wall is damaged, the vascular wall plaque formation, arteriosclerosis, vascular tube endothelial ulcer, vasculitis, vascular lining damage, resulting in vascular lining potholes and not smooth, narrowing of blood vessels, obstruction of blood flow, promoting the formation of coagulation factors, resulting in thrombosis.
Second, the blood flow becomes slower
For patients who are sedentary, bedridden for a long time, and do not exercise frequently, there will be slow blood flow, which is also easy to cause blood clots, generally polydactyle vein thrombosis.
3. Changes in blood composition (changes in coagulation mechanism)
Some systemic diseases, trauma, coagulation diseases, hematologic diseases and inflammatory response diseases, etc., lead to changes in blood composition (thrombocytosis, hyperfibrinogenemia, etc.), resulting in hypercoagulation of the procoagulation system and accelerated thrombosis.

In our clinic, the most common cause of damage to the blood vessel wall is cerebral thrombosis caused by atherosclerosis. In the treatment of this type of patient, we must first control the factors of vascular wall damage and reduce further damage to the vascular wall.
