Sun Ziru: Studying for a master's degree, following a master, and really saying the 4 words of "loving Chinese medicine", I used it for 9 years

author:Tateki Imatsha

"I love TCM and want to be a ming doctor!" Firmly saying this sentence, Sun Ziru spent 9 years. During this period, she was intoxicated with pure Chinese medicine thinking, and studied hard with the doctor until she graduated with a master's degree, and this sentence did not dare to be easily spoken. Because she knows what a good TCM should look like, a little timid in the face of high standards. "I have seen Yu Shi, Fang Kan taught", maybe it was her mentality at that time.

After graduation, she experienced a brief retreat to the second line, analysis, reflection, transformation, bravery, and finally firmly returned to the front-line clinic, with courage and strength to say the love in her heart. This courage and strength comes from the confidence in Chinese medicine and confidence in yourself.

Her insight is that "when you study TCM, the one who benefits the most is yourself." Indeed, because she achieved the growth of life through Chinese medicine. At the same time, we also believe that her relatives and friends around her will also benefit from her, and Chinese medicine is too beautiful, and she will also add luster to the beauty of Chinese medicine. Bless her, bless every friend who loves TCM and breaks through themselves!

Sun Ziru: Studying for a master's degree, following a master, and really saying the 4 words of "loving Chinese medicine", I used it for 9 years

Nine years of TCM road

I am confused, brave and determined

Wen / Sun Ziru

Hello everyone, I am Sun Ziru, and I am honored to be invited by Jianmu Medical Society Baihui to share with you my growth story on the road of Chinese medicine. Although I have been studying medicine for nine years, in fact, I have only walked a short distance on the long, long road of Chinese medicine.

Below I will share with you from the three aspects of medical experience, clinical practice and Chinese medicine perception.

Medical experience: Nine years, began to firmly believe in medicine

I summed up my medical experience in one sentence: nine years, I have strengthened my belief in medicine.

This nine-year period refers to the period from 2012 to 2021. If you talk about it in three time periods: 2012 to 2017 is my undergraduate study stage, 2017 to 2020 graduate school, and June 2020 to 2021 is the work stage.

Undergraduate students have the privilege of following a master and are immersed in pure TCM thinking

I chose to apply for the University of Chinese Medicine because of my family. They weren't in good health because of long-term exertion, so I wanted to become a doctor.

When I first entered Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I didn't know much about learning Chinese medicine, I didn't like Chinese medicine or anything, and I didn't have the experience of seeing Chinese medicine before, so I started from scratch. Maybe I was a person who had always studied more seriously, but at that time I didn't have the enthusiasm to study medicine.

What really stimulated my interest in learning Chinese medicine was that it came from a book I saw in my freshman year, "The Growth Process of a Traditional Chinese Medicine", in which the simple and pure Chinese medicine thinking described by the protagonist Yu Hao from real life deeply attracted me.

I have forgotten the particularly specific content, but I always remember that when he recounted that when his family taught him the string vein, he let him fly a kite by himself, pull the kite line to experience, and the elephant thinking mentioned in it to take analogies. I was thinking, it would be great if I could learn TCM in this way.

Later, it was also a coincidence that when I was in the first semester of my freshman year, I got to know Teacher Cao Ran, and then I followed Teacher Cao to the clinic. At that time, I was helping the teacher to cook medicine and grab medicine in the pharmacy, and once the teacher went to the pharmacy after seeing the doctor, he opened the medicine box and told us about the flavor of citrus fruit. The teacher does not lecture on the efficacy of citrus aurantium in the textbook, but picks up citrus fruit and tells us that it is like a cross-section of a blood vessel. I was both amazed and delighted, and secretly glad that I had real access to the scene depicted in the book "The Growth Of a Traditional Chinese Medicine". At that time, I was secretly determined to follow Teacher Cao all the time, because Teacher Cao attracted me with pure Chinese medicine thinking.

Later, once I had a cold and had a terrible headache, the teacher first gave me a needle to prick the wind pool, and then he grabbed some medicine for me in the pharmacy, soaked it in a cup, and the medicine arrived, and the disease was eliminated. At that time, I was immediately conquered by the efficacy of Chinese medicine. You know, I used to be a person who had to eat a lot of good health every time I had a cold.

As the number of teachers' patients increased, and many people came to see the doctor in groups, I was not surprised by the efficacy of TCM.

At that time, the teacher also recommended that we watch "Ask Chinese Medicine Several Degrees of Autumn Coolness", which is about the feelings of Chinese medicine, plus the teacher always combines Chinese medicine to give us the principles of life, so I like Chinese medicine more and more.

Realizing that doctors need comprehensive strength, they are afraid, confused, and dare not practice medicine

However, later, around my senior year, I encountered a stuck spot. I had great doubts about myself, and I felt that I might not be suitable to be a doctor. Because I was deeply aware of a problem: if you want to become a doctor, you need not only medical skills, but also comprehensive strength.

When I was a sophomore, the teacher saw more than ten or twenty people every day, the patients were all well introduced to the other, and the doctors and patients trusted each other, and at that time I saw the most harmonious scene between doctors and patients. Later, with more and more patients, the teacher saw fifty or sixty people every day, and even when the number one was difficult to find, the whole state was completely different, because in addition to seeing a doctor every day, there were also emergencies to deal with from time to time. For example, some people are queuing up to make trouble, some people are embarrassed by students, some people do not follow the doctor's instructions, question the doctor, and so on.

Every time I saw the teacher calmly cope and quickly collect four diagnosis information in a short period of time to convince the patients, I deeply realized again and again that becoming a doctor requires comprehensive strength, not only to have superb medical skills, but also to have the ability to see the six ways, listen to the eight directions, and grasp the initiative at any time. I am relatively lacking in this regard, so I am actually afraid that I will become a doctor in the future.

At that time, I was confused for more than a year, and when I went to graduate school and got a practicing physician certificate, I went to the pharmacy to sit part-time. At that time, I experienced the feeling of young Chinese medicine sitting on a cold bench, and when people saw that I was young, they were very disbelieving.

In the past, I didn't pay much attention to pulse diagnosis, and I thought it was just one of the diagnostic methods. When I went out to sit in the clinic, I felt that the pulse diagnosis was really too important, because often someone would come over, put their hands together, and say nothing, and come to test me. If I could say something about him by taking my pulse, he would trust me, which was a deep experience when I was sitting part-time in the pharmacy at that time.

I graduated in June 2020, when I still didn't have enough confidence to become a doctor.

Although I have tried to treat myself since I consulted Teacher Cao, and later treated my relatives and friends, and the clinical effect was good when I sat in the pharmacy, I still did not have the courage. Because when you see what that kind of really capable, real master looks like, you will find that you feel that you are still far behind.

Therefore, after graduation, at the beginning, I was engaged in some work related to TCM writing, and I did not engage in TCM clinical.

Truly "grown up", firmly believed in ming medicine, and returned to the clinic

Participated in the work, at that time, the heart was actually a very entangled state, that is, if you have been engaged in writing work, you may give up the clinic.

Finally, after careful consideration, I made up my mind, and after three months, I was back in the clinic and have been working until now.

During this time, I feel that my growth is relatively large, and one of the people who especially needs to be thanked is the pharmacist Chen Tao, who helped me unravel some knots in my heart at the emotional level. There is also a friend who changed my understanding of "growing up" in my thinking, making me realize that growing up is no longer a burden and a pressure, but a new challenge and starting point.

After the change of mentality, I felt that I really had the confidence to become a doctor, and I firmly believed that I must become a doctor and go down this road.

My TCM journey coincides with the course of my life, and every small step in the middle is actually my own growth. Now I can firmly say: "I love TCM and want to become a ming doctor!" Saying this sentence actually requires a lot of courage for me, because behind this is the confidence in the efficacy of Chinese medicine and the confidence in myself.

At the end of October 2021, I experienced my family's illness, and at that time I happened to watch the movie "Chosin Lake", and seeing the soldiers inside were so heroic, it also deeply inspired me - for the path I chose, be brave and firm.

Firmly believe in being a doctor, this mental journey I have spent nine years to walk, and I will continue to walk firmly and diligently in the future.

Clinical practice: Where the worldview recognizes, the efficacy can go wherever it goes

Regarding clinical practice, I myself am a major in acupuncture and massage, and if I use acupuncture, I started from joining a professional academic society in my school in my freshman year, when I had any physical problems, I would give myself a needle to treat it.

In terms of Fang, because I prefer Chinese medicine, plus Teacher Cao urges us to learn the Jing Fang, although we do not open the "Typhoid Fever Theory" classes in our major, I will go to rub classes, and I also rub Zhang Chi's typhoid class. The first time I used the formula of "On Typhoid Fever", I used lingguishu gantang, and at that time, a pair of lingguishu gantang cured the symptoms of my father's black eyes when he squatted down, which can be said to be "the charm of the jingfang when I first knew the jingfang".

At the beginning of the jingfang, Linggui Shu Gantang cure "from the beginning is dizzy", a dose and healing

I remember reading books at that time, someone explained the "glare" of "starting then dizzy" in the lingguishu gantang article, one eye and one xuan, its original meaning was actually blackened eyes, at that time I was based on this use of Lingguishu gantang, the amount of one or two folds was 15 grams (because I remember That Teacher Ni Haixia said that one or two in the Han Dynasty was equivalent to 15.625 grams), and other veins and tongues did not look at anything, really newborn calves are not afraid of tigers.

I asked my father to grab a pair of medicines, and he also believed in me more, so he went to grab the medicine. At that time, the pharmacy people also said that a pair of people should catch such a large amount? Because the original square is four two, one or two is equivalent to 15 grams, that is 60 grams. My dad just followed the formula, drank a pair of pills, and the symptom never appeared again.

At that time, I felt that if the Jingfang used it correctly, it would be really powerful! In addition, I also thought in my heart, this medical treatment is too simple. After a long time of clinical follow-up, I found that it was just the luck of a beginner, that is, I touched it right at once, I didn't think about it so much at that time, and I didn't know where to consider it, it was really a state of ignorance, and I touched it right at once. In the clinic, more and more people have seen it, and it is found that in fact, the clinic is complex and changeable, and the above situation is a state that can be encountered and unattainable.

One party can cure multiple diseases, and clinically adhere to the idea of simplicity and complexity

In clinical practice, I have noticed that one party can cure multiple diseases.

I remember that in 2019, the weather in Changchun was relatively abnormal that year, and there was a lot of rain in July and August, and then Teacher Cao used a piece of Huopu XiaLing to add and subtract to treat many diseases. I was in the follow-up consultation, saw a lot of patients with different symptoms, and then the teacher used this square plus minus to treat many diseases, the effect is not bad, I did not understand at the time.

Later, I checked it out, 2019 is the year of the self-hai, the years of luck and luck can not reach, the yin wind wood si tian, the shaoyang phase fire in the spring, July and August is in the summer to the autumn equinox of this period of the four qi, the main qi is too yin wet soil, polite is the shaoyin jun fire.

At that time, the teacher told us that this time is wet and hot glue together, when using the formula, this degree is particularly difficult to grasp, if it is simply wet, it may be drier, it may help the fire, but if the fire is extinguished, it may also aggravate the wetness, so this degree will be more difficult to grasp, with the soup as the main party to add and subtract, mainly to consider this level of the problem.

I have also heard that many teachers have used a prescription to treat many diseases all their lives, some with a small chai hu, some with a fuzi theory, etc., and it is really a square plus plus minus subtraction to treat many diseases.

The treatment of pain throughout the body is ineffective, and it is necessary to find the cause of the disease

Clinically, I have also noticed that some people may visit famous doctors, but the disease is fruitless. From my observation, the reasons for this phenomenon are that some patients do not trust the doctor, may look at it for a few days, feel that there is no effect, and then do not eat, change a doctor, and constantly change the doctor; some patients do not cooperate, take medicine without taboo, or do not change the original wrong habits, so some chronic diseases can not be cured; some may have some problems at the psychological level; others may have problems with feng shui at home and so on. There may be a variety of reasons that cause this disease to be untreated by conventional medicine.

In this regard, I have a case that I can share with you.

Some time ago, I received an aunt with a lot of pain and sweating, who was doing physiotherapy in the health hall where I worked for a long time. Every time this aunt came, she would talk about the condition for twenty or thirty minutes, and every time she would talk about the pain here and there, and there was too much pain in her body, and the whole body had the three yang meridians of the hands and feet, and each time it was different. After each physiotherapy, there will be some effects, but it will not be completely good, and then my colleague will recommend her to come to me for acupuncture.

At the beginning, I used a knotting needle to deal with her pain points, and after the needle was pierced, it immediately did not hurt, and the current effect was still more recognized by my aunt. The next time I came back, there were new pain points, and my aunt asked me to deal with her like that.

At that time, I was really helpless, I didn't like to treat the disease in this way, there was no dialectic at all, this way of treating the headache and the foot pain was just to solve the local pain, and the next time there would be a lot of new pain places, for myself, it did not achieve the kind of effect I wanted.

Her whole body has pain in the entire hand and foot sanyang meridian, clinically it is still relatively rare, I found that there is a problem with her emotional level by touching the pulse, inferring that she may have suffered a lot of mental trauma, and then the yang qi can not be lifted at once.

At first, I couldn't talk to her in depth because I wasn't familiar with it, but when she came for the third time, I asked her. I said, Auntie, before you got sick, did you suddenly experience anything? Later, my aunt told me that her son died in a car accident three years ago, and since then, she has begun to have pain all over her body.

She said it then and cried in front of me for a long time. I comforted her and encouraged her to vent her emotions by crying, or talking to someone close to her, or finding a place where no one was there to say it.

Later, the aunt should have listened. Since that time, the later treatment effect, I feel that all of a sudden up a step, auntie's whole state is much better. Later, I prescribed chai hu guizhi soup for her to clean up the aftermath, so far, the situation of the aunt is also very good.

Regarding clinical practice, I have summed up one sentence: where the worldview recognizes, the efficacy can go wherever it goes. I first heard this sentence from Teacher Jiang Zongrui, and when Teacher Jiang mentioned such a sentence in the typhoid class, I felt that this sentence was really too good.

In the personality signature of Jiancheng, there is also a sentence, which I think is also very good: Chinese medicine is a science of life at the time of heaven, which is a sentence in the "Shen Qianyi Ancient Chinese Medicine Lecture Book".

I really think that Chinese medicine is its greatest, there are many levels of disease, there are many ways to solve problems, your worldview recognizes where, the whole perspective of cognition, the efficacy can go to where. This is my current understanding of the clinical practice of TCM.

TCM perception: Learning TCM, the biggest benefit is yourself

In terms of TCM perception, I also summarize it in one sentence: the one who benefits the most is myself.

I am very fond of TCM, and there are many reasons for liking it. First of all, it is because TCM has taught me a way of thinking. For example, the theory of yin and yang in Chinese medicine, yin and yang are inseparable, and anything, whether it is a thing or a thing, is contained in it at the same time, so it is not easy to be biased.

In addition, in the process of follow-up diagnosis and my own clinical practice, I have formed a lifelong view of disease, that is, disease is a signal sent by the body, and our body actually needs our own maintenance. Our body has its own system to maintain, if you do not pay attention to your own body, if it is cold without clothes, eat too much, or always eat cold, etc., it is easy to get out of the situation, this is actually some signals sent by the body, reminding us to treat ourselves well.

There is also the fact that "concept is more important than treatment, prevention is more important than treatment", which is the sentence that I have experienced most in my clinic. If I have reached the level of curing diseases, it is already the end, and when I have this concept of health maintenance, I can positively influence the people around me.

There is also the fact that through learning Chinese medicine, I will be more in awe of nature, in awe of life, and grateful to the ancient sages. I think it's like the sentence that Liang Dong said, "Lament that Chinese medicine is too beautiful, Chinese culture is too beautiful", if you really like Chinese medicine, it is such an emotion.

Finally, I would like to say that in fact, TCM thinking is closely related to everyone, because it studies our human body, the exploration of TCM is a lifelong thing, and TCM is a science that we have to live to be old and learn from.

Sometimes, in life, I will also have some feelings about some things. For example, on the way home this time, when I was on a plane, I thought: Why is it faster to take a plane than a train? For this question, interested colleagues can also think about it, we can explore it.

Thanks to the invitation of Jianmu Medical Society, we have become acquainted with Traditional Chinese Medicine and are honored to walk with you on the road of medicine.

That's what I'm sharing today, thank you for listening.
