In May 2017, Lu Enguang was double-dismissed according to law and filed for review.
On April 18, 2018, the Intermediate People's Court of Anyang City, Henan Province, held a public hearing on Lu Enguang's case.
Lu Enguang was sentenced to 12 years in prison and fined 3 million yuan for bribery.
