Carol Tarzier
Carol Tarzier's main focus is on figurative works in bronze and crayon drawings on paper, dabbling in oil paintings and abstract bronze sculptures. His many solo exhibitions in California and Nevada date back a decade and have earned him numerous awards.
Between 1998 and 1999, he turned to commission projects and unveiled an 8-foot-tall bronze monument to Auckland's civil rights leader CL Dellums in December 1999. His Abstract Bronze Obelisk 1 is a 9-foot bronze sculpture decorated with a private garden in Portola. Tarzier built a monument in 2004 for Professor George Hasslein of California Institute of Technology San Luis Obispo.
Carol allocates her time to work in her spacious Oakland studio and teaches art at the San Francisco Art Institute and The City College of San Francisco.
