In order to further improve the intangible cultural heritage list system of Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area and promote the protection, inheritance and utilization of intangible cultural heritage, Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area recently carried out the declaration and evaluation of the first batch of representative items of intangible cultural heritage.
After declaration, evaluation and publicity, 7 projects of "Zhejiang Bonsai", "Green Tea Making Technology [West Lake (Shifeng) Longjing]", "Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Porcelain Making Technology", "West Lake Plum Appreciation (Lingfeng Plum Exploration)", "Spring and Autumn Yue King Festival", "Lu Yu Tea Ceremony" and "Hangzhou Opera" were included in the list of intangible cultural heritage representative projects of the first batch of Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Areas.
The latest assessment of the first batch of 13 representative items of intangible cultural heritage of Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area (6 of which have been included in the representative items of intangible cultural heritage at or above the municipal level) are hereby announced.
