The Beijing Winter Olympics are being held fiercely, in order to vigorously carry forward the volunteer spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress", give full play to the advantages of the new era civilization practice station organization and mobilization, guide the majority of volunteers and residents in the jurisdiction to actively participate in the Winter Olympics, embrace the Winter Olympics, and share the Winter Olympics, the New Civilization Practice Station of Minrong Community in Minsheng Street actively carried out the volunteer service activity of "Promoting Traditional Culture and Passionately Helping the Winter Olympics" on February 15. Community party members and cadres, 19 college student volunteers, and 3 youth volunteers participated in the activity.
The activities are divided into three links: "Winter Olympics Knowledge Quiz", "Ice and Snow Classroom Helping the Winter Olympics", and "Intangible Cultural Heritage Helping the Winter Olympics". In the knowledge quiz session of the Winter Olympic Games, everyone actively competed in the competition, and the atmosphere was warm, among which students from a small school in Pingquan, Yungang District also actively participated, which also reflected the enthusiasm of contemporary teenagers for the Winter Olympics while learning the knowledge of the Winter Olympics. In the "Ice and Snow Classroom" picture guessing session, everyone discussed the origin of different ice and snow sports and the way of competition through the picture of ice and snow sports to guess the name of the sports, feel the fun and charm of ice and snow projects, and narrow the distance with the Winter Olympics. Intangible Cultural Heritage Helps the Winter Olympics to carry forward and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, using paper-cutting art with the theme of the Winter Olympics logo to create paper-cut works of the mascots of the Winter Olympics such as "Ice Pier" and "Snow Melting" to present the Winter Olympic Games.
Through this activity, it reflects the courage of contemporary college students to take responsibility and be willing to dedicate, enhances the attention of the majority of young people and residents to the Winter Olympic Games, transmits the Olympic spirit, and creates a strong atmosphere for the participation and support of the whole people in the Winter Olympics.
