"Social worker girl, I have a wish." I don't want to spend this Lantern Festival alone again. I would love to feel the festive atmosphere of the Lantern Reunion. Recently, Uncle Bang, an elderly man living alone in Xinzuo Town, Panyu District, made such a small wish to the social workers who came to visit the social workers. After learning of the situation, the Xinzuo Town Social Work Service Station played the role of a resource linker, immediately released Uncle Bang's micro-wish, recruited volunteers to celebrate the Lantern Festival with Uncle Bang, and let him truly feel the warmth of the social family.

It turned out that Uncle Bang was an elderly man who lived alone and had previously suffered a stroke that paralyzed his right side. Whenever I see other people celebrating the festival, the family is reunited and lively, and Uncle Bang wants to feel such a festive atmosphere. When Uncle Bang's micro-wish was released, it received a positive response from the community residents, and successfully recruited three elderly volunteers from Aunt Hua, Aunt Qiu and Aunt Jian to spend the Lantern Festival with Uncle Bang. When he saw the social workers and volunteers coming to the door, Uncle Bang could not hide his excitement.

Cooked rice balls

At the event, social workers and volunteers of the elderly took out the ingredients for wrapping tangyuan prepared in the morning, kneading dough, kneading tangyuan, wrapping filling, kneading shapes... Everyone divided their work and cooperated, and the white and fat tangyuan was quickly wrapped. In addition to wrapping tangyuan, social workers and volunteers also worked with Uncle Bang to make red lanterns in red envelopes and hang them on the wall, which added a bit of festive atmosphere to Uncle Bang's home.

When he saw his dream come true, his face was full of happy smiles, and he thanked the social workers and volunteers for their repeated thanks.
