In November 2021, Yang Junming, station manager of Lijiang Station, learned that the Lijiang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau planned to organize thousands of migrant workers to work in Jiangsu Province after the Spring Festival. In previous years, they traveled by bus, which took nearly 60 hours to reach Kunshan.

In order to provide a comfortable riding environment for migrant workers, the K6134 migrant train operated by China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. uses the body of the Y754 Lijiang high-quality tourism and cultural train, and there is also a leisure restaurant bar car on the double-decker sleeper train, and the crew of the Kunming passenger section carefully prepared a cultural performance with local characteristics to send the migrant workers back to work.
In order to facilitate the transfer of migrant groups and reduce the number of transfers, Kunming Bureau Group Company adjusted the train path and changed the final arrival station of the train from Kunming Station to Kunming South Station, so that they could change to high-speed rail trains at the same station.
The K6134 train departed twice on February 9 and 10, transporting a total of 1,200 migrant workers to Kunming South Railway Station to transfer to the high-speed train to Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. This is the sixth year that gannan county migrant workers have traveled through public railway intermodal transportation.
Gannan County, Qiqihar City, is a county with a large population of migrant workers, and the main destinations of migrant workers are Hangzhou and Ningbo in Zhejiang. In order to facilitate the travel of migrant workers, in September 2017, the railway department established the province's first public railway intermodal trackless station in Gannan County, which is not connected to the railway, relying on the "road + railway" seamless docking mode, so that the previous 4 hours of "bumpy road" into a flat road of 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the opening of this southbound migrant road, the number of local migrant workers has increased year by year.

In February this year, after the station grasped the information that there were 8 batches of migrant workers traveling since the sixth day of the first lunar month, it immediately took the way of reserving carriages to meet the travel needs of migrant workers, and opened a special ticket purchase window to print travel notices for migrant workers. At the same time, the station has strengthened the implementation of epidemic prevention measures, and launched special service measures such as special guidance, special area waiting, and special entrance to the station to ensure the safe travel of migrant workers.

At 12:28 on February 13, 3316 "Eighteen-Hole Return to Work Special Train" arrived at Jinhua Station in Zhejiang Province on time, and 763 migrant workers from Huayuan County, Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Xiangxi Hunan Province, stepped off the train, and under the careful organization and guidance of railway staff, chartered a chartered bus to Jinhua City and Yiwu, Wuyi, Yongkang and other places, and successfully returned to work.
