The meeting comprehensively summarized the work results and experience and practices of the education and rectification of the political and legal contingent in 2021, deeply planned the results of continuing to consolidate the education and rectification in 2022, and promoted the work deployment of comprehensively and strictly managing the party and the police in depth. Zhang Dajun, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee, secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and secretary of the Taihe District CPC Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhang Dajun pointed out: In the past year, all comrades of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee have worked hard to forge ahead, have the courage to make innovations, dare to take responsibility, and overcome difficulties; on the one hand, they have paid close attention to all aspects of political and legal work, and on the other hand, they have paid close attention to the education and rectification of the contingent of practical political and legal personnel, and have achieved "grasping with both hands, making no mistakes, and promoting both," and have made great progress in all aspects of work.
Zhang Dajun stressed: The Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee should benchmark the "115544" plan of the Political and Legal Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee, closely follow the work strategy of "stability, liveliness, and excellence" put forward by the Municipal CPC Committee, and establish the work goal of "safeguarding the midstream, striving for the upper reaches, and standing in the forefront.", that is, all work should enter the top six in the province, key work should enter the top three in the province, and special work should lead the province. In accordance with the work ideas of grasping one theme, creating two environments, promoting the three major constructions, achieving four breakthroughs, and grasping the five actions, we should do a solid job in all political and legal work.
Zhang Dajun demanded that the political and legal work in 2022 has heavy tasks, strict requirements, and high standards, and it is necessary to focus on the implementation of five aspects of work. First, it is necessary to strengthen political construction, continuously improve our political standing, strictly abide by political discipline and political rules, and safeguard political security. Second, we must strengthen the modernization of urban social governance, deeply understand and analyze the complex situation facing the current grass-roots social governance, and actively promote more resources to tilt to the grass-roots level. Third, it is necessary to strengthen the normalization of the struggle against organized crime and evil forces, refine and solidify the good experiences and good practices of the special struggle against organized crime and evil forces, form a system and mechanism that will work for a long time, and earnestly realize the organic unity of political, legal, and social effects. Fourth, it is necessary to strengthen the work of financial institutions to clear and recover losses, bite the target, consolidate responsibilities, refine measures, and complete the collection tasks deployed by the municipal party committee and the municipal government with high quality according to the time node. Fifth, it is necessary to strengthen the building of the work style of organs, further deepen the results of education and rectification, enhance the spirit of struggle, strengthen self-revolution, and strive to build a contingent of political and legal personnel with strict discipline and excellent work style.
