The 4 workers hired by Lin Rongli were busy picking in the field, and the field was a busy scene. According to Lin Rongli, she has been growing Chaotian pepper for two or three years, and the market price has been good. Last year, the family's 10 acres of Chaotian peppers have been picked since the end of October after they matured, and the amount of each picking is about 200 to 300 pounds. After the Spring Festival this year, the price continued to be optimistic, and it has been maintained at more than 10 yuan per catty.

It is understood that there are 150 households in Shuifu Village, since the relocation from Wang Xia Township in 2002, suffering from the lack of water for agricultural production, coupled with the concept of production has not changed, the entire village's industry is almost based on the cultivation of sugarcane, the benefits are extremely poor. Inefficient industries have become the primary factor restricting the development of Shuifu Village. In 2020, some people in the village began to go out to learn pepper cultivation techniques, and when they returned, they taught them to everyone in the village. Seeing that the effect of planting is good, more and more villagers have begun to grow peppers, but the water used for agricultural production is a major shortcoming. The enthusiasm of the masses for planting has risen, what should we do with water? In order to solve the problem of water shortage, in 2021, Shuifu Village enclosed the original ditch into 3 reservoirs, installed a high-power pumping machine, laid a general pipe of nearly 2,000 meters, invested 110,000 yuan to clean up the reservoir and build a dam to ensure water for agricultural production. After the villagers saw that the water for agricultural production was guaranteed, the enthusiasm for planting was even higher.
According to reports, this year, Shuifu Village planted 175 mu of Chaotian pepper, more than 20 mu of beans, eggplants and other melons, 85 mu of sweet potatoes, and nearly 300 mu of high-efficiency agriculture, accounting for 39% of the total cultivated land in Shuifu Village. The efficient agriculture of Shuifu Village has begun to take shape, and the industrial revitalization has taken a solid step.
