One new case was confirmed in Guangzhou
On February 17, the Guangzhou Health Commission reported that from 0:00 to 24:00 on February 16, 2022, there was a new case of confirmed cases associated with overseas imports in Guangzhou, 9 confirmed cases imported from abroad, and 4 cases of asymptomatic infected people imported from abroad.

Male, 30 years old, Chinese nationality, living in Tiangui Road, Huadu District, Guangzhou. For the close contacts of confirmed cases 1 and 2 imported from abroad on February 15, they were transferred to the centralized isolation point as close contacts on the 15th. On the 16th, the nucleic acid test of the new crown virus was positive, and after the disease control department reviewed positive, that is, it was transferred to the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for isolation and treatment. After further examination and expert consultation, the diagnosis was confirmed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia.
According to the epidemiological investigation, the case involved key sites:

The 6 cases are all close contacts of the "0213" epidemic case 1, which has been under centralized isolation and observation, and has been in a closed-loop management state during the past 14 days of work, and the activity trajectory is from the work dormitory (Spring Apartment in Xinhu Street and Rich Industrial Zone in Guangming District) to the isolation hotel "two points and one line".
At present, the Shenzhen Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention has completed the whole genome sequencing of the new coronavirus in the "0213" epidemic case 1-5, and the results are all Omi kerong variants (BA.2 evolutionary branch). After comparison, the sequence of the new crown virus in cases 1-5 is highly homologous, suggesting the same chain of transmission. Gene sequencing for cases 6 to 11 is ongoing.

Case 1:
Female, 37 years old, a staff member of a company in Yuehai Street, Nanshan District, lives in Shazui Yifang, Shatou Street, Futian District. On February 16, the initial screening was positive, and after the Shenzhen Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention reviewed positive, it was transferred to the emergency hospital of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for isolation and treatment, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (mild).
Case 2:
Male, 12 years old, living in Shazui Yifang, Shatou Street, Futian District, is the closest to case 1. On February 16, he was initially screened positive, and after being reviewed positive by the Shenzhen Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, he was transferred to the emergency branch of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for isolation and treatment, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person with the new crown virus.
