A few days after his father's unfortunate death in 2018, Mr. Ayawat, chairman's son, promised to erect a sculpture for his father. The sculpture is a timeless tribute to one of leicester City Football Club's most influential figures in its 138-year history.

Susan Whelan, Executive Director of Leicester City Football Club, said: "We are very excited to share this news with the fans. The kindness shown by the fans of Leicester as a whole, and even fans around the world after the death of Mr. Vichai, can see how many people were inspired by President Vichai during his lifetime. ”

"Mr Vichai's contribution to this club and to the city, his vision, his generosity, and his trust in people will live on in the memory of all those associated with Leicester." The sculpture will be a place where people will honor him, celebrate his wonderful life, and share Mr. Vichai's story with generations to come. ”

Mr Vichai has been president of Leicester City F.C. since 2010 and has led the club back to the english football top flight. Under his leadership, Fox City shocked the world in 2016. The club that made the first 5,000 times odds of winning the season finally become the Premier League champions, which became one of the greatest achievements in the entire history of sport. He also helped the team compete at a higher level, including the unforgettable journey of the team to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League in 2017. At the same time, he also has a vision for the long-term construction of the club, which has now become the legacy of Mr. Vichai.

What underpins Mr. Vichai's vision is his close relationship with Leicester City fans and the local Leicester community. Fans and the community will often be the beneficiaries of Mr. Vichai's generous behavior. Better stadium facilities, complimentary gifts and beer all enhance the matchday experience for fans. Chairman Vichai's previous personal donations exceeded £4 million, including for children's health services and local charitable organisations. These have improved the quality of life of countless people in Leicester.

He was involved in the planning of the world's leading training base in Seagrave, north leicestershire, and began planning to expand and develop the King Power Stadium and its environs. However, in October 2018, an unexpected helicopter tragedy took the lives of Mr. Vichai, club members Kapen Benhai and Nusara Sukhnamai and pilots Eric Swavr and Isabella Lekhwich. Memories of the five victims are preserved in the Vichai Srivatana Brapa Memorial Park. This memorial park was built on the southeast corner of the King Power Stadium, the site of the helicopter crash.

Under the leadership of Mr Ayawat, the club officially opened its training base in West Grave in December 2020. In the autumn of 2021, proposals to expand and develop the King Power Stadium and its environs were officially submitted, just a few months after leicester City men's football team successfully lifted the first FA Cup title in the team's history. These events can see the club maintaining progress and development both on and off the pitch.
