At this time, the Japanese army wanted to get out of the war against China as soon as possible and end this time-consuming and laborious long war.
When confronting the Japanese army, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party united to resist foreign enemies. In the years when the War of Resistance was coming to an end, the Japanese army began to lure the Kuomintang troops into surrender. Watching the every move of the Japanese army, many high-level Kuomintang officials were convinced that the War of Resistance Against Japan was over. But the problem that arises from this is the growing power of the Communist Party.
