The documentary "The Song of survivors – Jews in Shanghai" will premiere on Oriental TV at 10 p.m. on February 16. This documentary focuses on the past of Mike Madwall's family in Shanghai during World War II. Starting from the initial association between the writer Bella and the Jewish theme, in the process of her continuous exploration, excavation, collection and verification, the details of the Jewish life and history in Shanghai at that time were separated from the dust in the years of more than 80 years of rapid change, and shown to the audience in the most authentic original form. Bella visits the Shanghai Jewish Memorial Hall
For more than 20 years, Bella has visited Jews scattered around the world who took refuge and were born in Shanghai during World War II. A large number of first-hand historical materials and more than 1 million words of records, materials, outlines and first drafts were collected. She took this as her eternal hometown dream and dedicated it to her birthplace of Shanghai.

This "Survivor's Song" documentary focuses on the memories of the famous producer Mike Madwall's family in Shanghai during World War II. Mike Madwo's parents, they have lived in Shanghai for 24 years, Bella and Mike's mother Dora met, they communicate fluently in Shanghainese, Dora always sees Bella wants to follow her back to Shanghai, miss to go back to the place where Shanghai once lived. The Survivor's Song documentary recreates the real life of Mike's parents. Information about Mike's father's work for a U.S. company was discovered, and Bella made a copy of "Memories of Shanghai" and gave it to him.
