"Thank you so much for coming here when it rained so much!" This thank you comes from an elderly man who has a disability in his right leg due to a traffic accident. Recently, two cadres and policemen from the Bangjun Court of the Jizhou District Court braved the rain to come to a village in Youguzhuang Town to file a case for the elderly, and fulfilled their promise of "doing practical things for the masses" with practical actions.

In 2020, Wu Laobo was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle and a passenger car in a traffic accident, and his right leg fell disabled, and he could only walk with crutches. After the accident, Wu Laobo spent a lot of money on treatment, but the owner of the passenger car disappeared. In desperation, Wu Laobo sought help from the Bangjun People's Court.
Considering that Wu Laobo was physically disabled and had limited mobility, the judge decided to file a case at his doorstep. The judge prepared the relevant case filing formalities in advance, and arrived at Laobo Wu's home on time according to the agreed time, carefully reviewed the materials, learned more about the case and the demands of the parties, and patiently guided Laobo Wu to fill in the case filing review form and address confirmation. Under the patient guidance of the judge, the old man successfully filed the case.
Leg injury to court inconvenience judge "send the law to the door"
A few days ago, a special trial was held at the head of a village in Chuanfangyu Town, Jizhou District. At the scene of the trial, the judges and clerks of the MaShenqiao Circuit Court brought tables, chairs, benches, and sat between the plaintiff's and defendant's houses, with their backs to the mountain, and held a hearing of the property damage cases of both parties.
The plaintiff Lao Bai and the defendant Lao Li are neighbors. Lao Bai believes that in order to facilitate travel, the Old Li family demolished part of the pig pen wall of the Old Bai family without permission, causing economic losses to it. Therefore, Lao Bai demanded that the other party restore the pigsty to its original state and compensate for the loss. Lao Li said that the wall was not demolished at the beginning, but only the debris was cleaned up, and this behavior was approved by the village committee. The two sides have their own opinions and have never been able to reach an agreement.
After the case was accepted, the judge who undertook the case, taking into account that Old Li had a leg injury and it was inconvenient to appear in court, decided to move the trial into the village after obtaining the consent of both parties. During the trial, the judge fully listened to the opinions of both parties, guided the parties to make statements around the focus of the dispute, interpreted the law and reasoning, and finally decided to choose a time to pronounce the judgment.
