In the early hours of this morning, Liverpool beat Burnley 1-0 and Spurs lost 0-2 to Wolves, and the following is the latest situation in the Premier League table.

Manchester City remained first with 63 points in 25 rounds, Liverpool were second with 54 points in 24 rounds, Chelsea were third with 47 points in 24 rounds, and West Ham were fourth with 41 points in 25 rounds.

United finished sixth with 40 points in 24 rounds after a draw with Southampton, Seventh with 39 points in 22 rounds, Wolves jumped eighth with 37 points in 23 rounds, and Tottenham Hotspur finished ninth with 36 points in 22 rounds. The scramble for the fourth place is unprecedentedly fierce.

In the relegation zone, Newcastle went unbeaten in five consecutive rounds, accumulating 21 points in 23 rounds to 17th place, four points higher than the relegation zone, and Everton ranked 16th with 22 points in 22 rounds. The three teams in the relegation zone are Norwich, Watford and Burnley.
