The qualifying round for slope obstacle courses was originally scheduled to be held on the morning of the 13th, but due to the heavy snow weather in Zhangjiakou area, the schedule was postponed by one day. The order of appearance of the players was also rearranged by lottery, with Gu Ailing winning the 1st place and Yang Shuorui in the 26th place. All the contestants competed for two rounds, ranking the best round of points, and the top 12 advanced to the final.

Because it was a qualifier, Gu Ailing chose a more secure set of moves in the first round, except for a slight flaw in the second props area, the other actions were completed smoothly, and she scored 57.28 points. Yang Shuorui, who played in the penultimate appearance, also recovered after several days of adjustment injury, but she still made a big mistake in the first round, only scoring 18.46 points.

After the first round, Gu Ailing was 11th, Yang Shuorui was 21st, and Norway's Kili and Georgia's Hildaru were in the top two.

In the second round of the game, Gu Ailing's state improved, and the action with a larger difficulty coefficient was also easier to complete, scoring 79.38 points. Interestingly, when waiting for the score, Gu Ailing also took out a cake and ate it, looking leisurely and confident. This score also basically helped her lock in a final seat in advance.

After the game, Gu Ailing did not stop in the mixed picking area, but shouted the words "leek box" to the reporters, which also solved many people's doubts about what kind of cake she ate.
