Liu Yonghan, a 19-year-old girl from Luzhou, plays Xi Shi in the Sichuan opera "A Touch of Heavenly Fragrance", which is jointly created by Sichuan Provincial Theater and Sichuan Arts Vocational College and other teams, using the opera expression of the four classical Chinese beauties as the carrier, through body skills, costumes and makeup, to show the unique temperament of classical oriental beauties.
Liu Yonghan is a first-year student majoring in Sichuan Opera at Sichuan Vocational College of Arts. She told reporters that she was able to get on this stage thanks to her experience of studying Sichuan opera in the "Luzhou River" Sichuan Opera Academic Class.
"When I was studying, I felt very difficult and hard, the training started from getting up at 6 o'clock in the morning, and I could go back to the dormitory at 9 o'clock in the evening to rest, and I thought about giving up at that time, but the teachers in the group always encouraged me and helped me, and I finally decided to learn Sichuan opera well." Liu Yonghan said that their family loves Sichuan opera, and her father is a hardcore fan of Sichuan opera and has liked Sichuan opera for more than 40 years. Growing up in a family with many records and books about Sichuan opera, she has a special affection for Sichuan opera.
Liu Yonghan said: "The impression of Sichuan opera on me is humorous and open-minded, which is the embodiment of the character of Sichuan people. I began to learn dance at the age of five, and I was fascinated by the dance fragments in Sichuan opera. ”
Liu Yonghan told reporters that when she was 14 years old, she began to study Sichuan opera in the "Luzhou River" Sichuan Opera Academic Class, and it has been five years now. Although the study time is not very long, with her love and study of Sichuan opera, she quickly won the recognition of her teachers and also got many opportunities to participate in Sichuan opera performances.
Bao Jing, director of the Luzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Learning Institute, said that Liu Yonghan has good conditions and performed well in the learning process. In the 2020 Sichuan Youth Sichuan Opera Competition, she won the second prize of Sichuan Province, and at the end of the same year, she won the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature Hundred Excellent Project Award.
Bao Jing told reporters that the inheritance and development of Sichuan opera has always been inseparable from the hard work of Sichuan opera people and the strong support of Sichuan opera art lovers. In order to better inherit the art of Sichuan opera, they cooperated with eight schools in Luzhou to open a Sichuan opera transmission base. "We want to cultivate more young audiences and discover Sichuan opera seedlings among young audiences, and maybe they will become the professional inheritors of 'Luzhou River' Sichuan opera or the famous masters of Sichuan opera."
